Plainview, Arkansas Campgrounds and RV Parks

Tucked in Ouachita National Forest, west of Little Rock, Plainview is a gorgeous, small town in Arkansas. There are plenty of outdoor options in the area, including those on the water. Little Rock offers some nightlife entertainment, as well. Just south of Plainview on the other side of the forest is Hot Springs, which is its own destination. After a day checking out the area, head on over to one of Plainview’s RV Parks.

Ouachita National Forest wraps around the city of Plainview. Comprised of nearly two million acres of forest, with six different wilderness areas, Ouachita offers up fishing, mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding and hunting – the word Ouachita actually means “good hunting.” The park is biologically diverse with several different types of Oak dominating the tree population. There are ample areas to take in the views of the gorgeous forest. After a day in the park, take a short drive to one of Plainview’s multiple RV Parks.

The Hot Springs, on the southern side of the forest, offers up hot, natural water in bathhouses. It is one of the most visited areas in the south. Stop over and relax in the natural, thermal springs and head back over to your Plainview RV Park.
