The Lake Conroe/Houston North KOA is located in the beautiful town of Montgomery, Texas and is a great spot for an exciting, yet relaxing southern escape. Campers can look forward to plenty of wide open spaces for nature hiking, biking, sunset viewing and stargazing. Just beyond the campground in the city, there's a ton of amazing historic buildings to view, great local eateries and scenic viewing and onsite, travelers can look forward to ice cream socials, catch-and-release fishing, group games, banana boats, pedal-boat rentals, horseshoes and tie-dying for the kids. Amenities at the park include: WIFI, water, sewer, showers, electricity, big rig access, cabins, tent sites and even a volleyball court.

Nice Park! Horrible Staff!!! The Place was beautiful and clean, and as always the RV community is fun and friendly. But the Staff and Management of the location is NOT TO KOA STANDARDS. To start, we attempted to call the place because we were running behind and could never get anyone on the phone. (During our Stay we tried to call a few time and not one ever picked up the phone) When I arrived, I asked the Cashier about moving spot to a lake view and if there was one available. She said yes, and I asked was there an extra charge which she responded "I Don't Know" then tells me my total was $91 and asks me to sign. No knowing what happened to the conversation we had about moving I signed. She gave me a spot number, and a guy helps us find the location which was a lake spot. I after hooking up I look at my email receipt, and I was charge 51 a night and not the original 47. It was no big deal, but I would have like to had known my rate was changing before I signed. I wish it would end there, but it did not. I have a few other items about the staff, but I'll list them at the end. I got a feedback email at the end of our stay that I expressed my concern on how they did not inform me of the rate change before me paying. I then received an email from a person I believe is the manager named Pat C. This person is by far the worst customer support person I have ever worked with. She even responds to one of my emails as mic dropped clearly Pat does not care about customer feedback she wanted to argue the whole time trying to blame me. Other staff issues: Office locked during open hours No managing the phone for questions Employee smoking at the kid's playground (while BBQ) Staff screaming at a customer when he started to washing his RV (this is against the rules) Location Issue: Wifi is broken in park (Wish I knew this beforehand, Should be posted on website) Ant Problem (Our site was covered with ants and our 2-year-old got a lot of bites) Please treat park Overall I would have given this a 4-star review if not for the Staff and Pat C really needs some customer service training.
