The Woodland Lakes RV Park is located in the beautiful town of Conroe and is a great spot for an authentic southern adventure. Historic downtown Conroe is a great place for exploring and soaking in local art, the Sam Houston National Forest is great for scenic viewing and the Southern Star Brewing Company are camper favorites. Campers can also look forward to a number of nearby attractions such as the W G Jones State Forest which is popular for its hiking trails and 2 small lakes for fishing, boating, canoeing and kayaking.

Every site offers full hookups with 30 and 50 amp, free cable and WiFi and patio with sitting. The park also offers comfortable amenities such as public bathrooms and showers, a club house, onsite propane, a leash free dog park and two laundry facilities.

The 7 Acre Wood petting zoo and mini-golf area is also excellent for group fun, and Lake Conroe Park and Recreation Area are both perfect for nature walking, fishing and swimming. The park is also a short drive from Houston, and is in an ideal spot for a day trip to this bustling Texas metropolis. In Houston, travelers can look forward to an urban adventure, with plenty of great restaurants, entertainment, art galleries, museums and historic sites to enjoy.

Theres plenty to do around here, so whether its for a night or two, we hope to see you soon!

We are conveniently located between The Woodlands and Conroe. Our park has easy to highway 45 and is also tucked away to have a country feel. If you are looking for a night out on the city, Houston is 34 miles south. Anything you could need or want is just a short distance away.

We were there to see a concert and the location was very convenient to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion as well as tons of restaurants. Our site was huge and we had a nice little patio with table and chairs. Other than someone in the neighborhood behind the park who thought we all wanted to listen to his music, the park was quiet. Office staff at check-in were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

The staff was very friendly, and the campground was clean and seemed well maintained. It was very close to the Cynthia Woods Pavilion, and other attractions. Would definitely stay there again/

We attended a concert in the area and stayed just one night. The park is very nice and met all our needs. There are a lot of of nice restaurants and a nice HEB in the area as well.

We usually camp at state parks and COE parks. We had to attend an event at The Woodlands and this park was the closest. It is a very quiet and cute park with lakes and ducks! The site had full hook ups and a table and chairs on a little patio area. As is usual at private parks there was only a little room between sites but it was adequate. Lots of trash receptacles and there was a dog park with bags included. We did not use any other amenities but we did see a laundry and a group type area. No swimming pool. The staff was very friendly and should we require another trip to the area we won't hesitate to return to Woodland Lakes.

Very pleased with our stay at Woodland Lakes. Very quiet park with very friendly people. We evacuated from Louisiana for Hurricane Ida and only reserved for a week, but soon realized we needed to stay longer and not sure how much longer. The office staff, Tammy, assured us her manager, Sarah, would not have a problem with us needing to stay as long as we needed. This was a great comfort to my wife and I knowing we wouldn’t have to pick up and move to another park possibly even further away from our home. We have friends in this area and the park was was no more than 4 miles from their house. Have a brand new HEB grocery store in front of the park also an auto parts store, Starbucks, Mexican restaurant and all brand new. Costco a mile away and Lowe’s 2 miles. All in all, the park is located in an excellent location especially close to many restaurants in The Woodlands 4 miles south of the park. We will be staying here again.

A well-managed park. However, the environment was depressing with many RVs housing permanent residents (not happy campers). Three kids tortured the box turtles in the pond. Vacationers be warned: this is not an RV park for traveling adventurers so much as divorcees raising kids on a budget.

Campground Response

Thank you for your candid comment and bringing this to our attention. We do have long-term guests, and many repeat short-term happy campers, and require that they act in a humane manner as our wildlife is very important to us. We have addressed this specific issue and hope that you will give us another chance.

The park was just an overnight stop for us but it was very clean. We had very little pressure, which was a frustration. Also, fire ants were an issue but with the rains in Texas we understand that.

Great site and staff. Traffic noise was a problem.

Nice park. Convenient location. Ponds have fish. We didn’t catch anything big enough to keep but the kids enjoyed it ‘catching and releasing’. New playground for small kids. They also have a large dog run area.

Campground Response

Thank you for your rating and your review! Please come and stay with us again when you are in the area!!

Amenities are really good. All sites are level gravel with plenty of spacing so you don't feel crowded. The only draw back was they only had 1unisex shower and toilet which is the main reason 4 stars. Location is great because there is a Walmart and another grocery store,HEB, close by. Would definitely stay again.

Campground Response

Thank you for your review and rating, Jeff!! I do apologize for only having 1 working bathroom at the moment. Our other two in the clubhouse are undergoing renovations that should be completed soon. We are also in the process of adding more restrooms and showers in section 3. We hope to see you on your next trip in our area!!

This little park is a gem in a bustling city. While homes are nearby, it still feels a bit rural. The fishing/duck pond is really nice and the ducks are friendly. The sites are gravel but fairly level. Hook-ups are no problem. Would stay there again if in the area.

Campground Response

Thank you for your review and rating, John!! We try very hard to keep a rural feel in such a bustling area. We would love to have you as our guest again if you are in the area again!

So many good aspects of this park to consider. Overall, a very good place to spend a few days. The only downside is that the shower facilities were very limited and showed their age. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the park was neat and clean. Considering the location, the price was great and the noise level relatively low.

Campground Response

Thank you so much for your review and rating, Timothy!! We truly appreciate your feedback and our bathrooms are currently the process of being renovated! We are also adding another shower/bathroom facility to ensure there are enough facilities for all of our guests. I hope you will choose Woodland Lakes RV Park in the future if you are in the area!

We had chosen Woodland Lakes RV Park for being very close to our home and since we wanted to checkout our new RV (KZ 2021 Durango 5th Wheel) from Terry Vaughn RV's. The RV park was clean and very well organized. Check-in took less than 1 minute from using the Roverpass reservation system and prepaying the site. The campground is divided into three (3) sections with ponds located in each section. Our site was 221, which was an ideal spot next to the pond with a great view. The site included a round table with four chairs, water, electric (50amps), cable, internet & sewer. The site was very level. Since we are very close to the city (Houston) and The Woodlands - there were a lot of permanent residence living in this park. Overall, the park was quiet and all of the amenities worked as expected. The folks managing this facility are doing a good job.

Park OK. Cable at my spot wasn't working. Don't know if cable was their problem or problem with wiring in my camper. Sarah, park manager, very cordial, informative, and helpful.

4 day stay in March 2020, overall very nice - very quiet, clean and helpful staff. Others reported construction in area - none during our stay, but site cleaned for future construction I imagine. A super nice HEB 1 block away!! Only drawback the park single bathroom and shower is full of mold - we would not use the facility this gets an F, everything else (including roads) an A.
