Venice on the Lake RV Park is the perfect spot for an authentic southern vacation where one may enjoy a private site and the unique country club style of a gated community. One may take advantage of beautiful views as we offer full 30/50 amp 100 waterview sites and 70 waterfront sites. Guests are pampered with the many amenities we offer such as restroom and shower facilities, a clubhouse, private covered boat slips, recreation area, boat ramp, swimming pool, picnic area, private gazebos and WiFi to name a few. Decent rv site with nice spots very close to the water. Would be very good for fishing and just relaxing. Nice and quiet with majority of the folks there being long term. Only issue is that it’s not the most “fun” and “friendly “ atmosphere.

Great place to take your RV. We fish so lake access is easy. We enjoy the park, its quiet and private. Management is easy to work with and helpful when needed. Thanks

10/19/22 The Venice lawn service broke my RV window on 6/28/22. Over these last many months, I have spoken and texted to Kyle at Venus over 30+ times and spoken to Anthony at Venus over 20+ times. Now as of 10/18/22; Anthony refuses to answer my telephone calls. The new window cost $350 and the install fee is $187.50. I will continue to escalate this issue as Venus and/or the lawn service pays $537.50.

This was our first trip in RV the staff were very friendly and helpful we were able to fish right beside our RV. only 30 minutes from our home we will be coming back for sure.

This would be a good place to live if you like to fish on lake Conroe or have a fishing camp. But for a nice weekend getaway it is horrible. The owners are very nice but this is no better than camping in a trailer park. Most of tenants were nice but there were some that made it a point to ruin our time by letting us know that we were not following rules and would get fined. Then would drive back and forth on their golf cart giving us nasty looks. Although the owner drove up and down several times and never mentioned a thing. We left early, not worth it and did not feel like we were welcome.

Very friendly. Our pull-through was long enough for a much larger rig. Our half of the park was mostly permanent/long term TT. No other Higher end Class A’s. The gravel space was not quite level, but that can be found anywhere. It would have been nicer if we didn’t have mud right outside our door. We got no map to laundry or showers and no wifi as far as we know. For a place to stay for one night, it was ok, we just probably won’t go back. It was very clean.

No WiFi to speak of. Went out often. No cable. All dog bag stations empty for 8 days we stayed. Dirty park grounds. Trash everywhere. Will never stay here again, period.

Very very unkept park. Lots of potholes, mud and sketchy trailers. Reserved a site but had put someone else in it so got a bad site with view of slimy canal. Never again!!!

Simply an awesome place to relax. Folks that either run or stay at this campground are just great people. 2nd long weekend camping here, and I’ll be back again. Clean restrooms, nice pool, and great fishing!

We were unable to go over the July 4th weekend and we were able to move our stay to Labor Day weekend without issue. Looking forward to our stay in September! Staff were very accomodating so thank you.

I can’t really say anything great about this place. I reserved a lakefront spot well in advance of arriving only to be placed on a flooded and extremely muddy space while there were other spaces available on the lake. When I asked why I was not on the lake like I had paid for I was told those are reserved for side by side travelers. A muddy mess and probably will not return here. Ever. I don’t like the idea of them not assigning you a space until they see you first. Every other place around the country I’ve visited I’ve selected my space from a map showing availability.
