Camp Huaco Springs is located on the Guadalupe River in the historic, southern town of New Braunfels and is a great place for a fun, Texas escape. Onsite, travelers can expect excellent river rafting, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, sunset viewing and stargazing. Campers can look forward to a number of excellent nearby attractions such as the spectacular Natural Bridge caverns, Animal World & Snake Farm Zoo, the historic Gruene Hall dance hall and Landa Park - 51-acres perfect for picnicking, golfing and nature walking. There's also Prince Solms Park, McKenna Children's Museum, Cypress Bend Park, Lake McQueeney for fishing, boating, paddle boarding, canoeing and kayaking and The Sophienburg Museum & Archives. Comal Springs, Gruene Historic District and the New Braunfels Museum of Art are visitor favorites. Campers can also take advantage of the area's excellent eateries, bars and breweries to enjoy.
