Deer Springs is a privately owned, pet friendly, RV park located in the Smoky Mountains, 13 miles West of Franklin, NC. We are a small RV park with a focus on providing large sites in a comfortable and unique setting. Our park has been designed for “self-contained RV’s”, and as such, there is no separate bath house on site.   While we strive to provide a memorable camping experience for everyone, our park is designed with a focus on the more mature visitor.  As such, all guests and visitors must be 18 or older.   Sites 1-8 have: 30/50 Amp Service, Sewer hookups, at least 1 picnic table, at least one fire ring, private gazebo equipped with prep counter, sink with running water, refrigerator with ice maker, and ceiling fan with light.   You may bring your own firewood or purchase it here at the park.   Wilderness Loop Sites 11-14 have: 30/50 Amp Service, Sewer hookups, picnic table and fire ring.  Awesome long range views of the surrounding mountains! The RV Campsite at Roaring River Vineyards (RRV) is located in a forested area surrounded by springs and walking trails and has a lovely view of the vineyards. Holston Hideaway is a family friendly campsite with River views! Holston Hideaway is a primitive campground. YURT RENTALS fully set up   EVENT RENTAL. Do not supply power, water, or sewer hook up. We do allow generators, can  fill up your water tanks ,but not for consumption. We do provide a few amenities, there is a restroom, a sink area, water Spicket. We also do provide a small table and fire ring at each  campsite. Mi Mountain Campground is a campground located on 151 Mi Mountain Road in Franklin, NC. The site includes laundry facilities.

Update may 1 2022 unfortunately this property has been sold and the new owners are working hard to carry on what we started and have made alot of improvements but they will not allow any campers out till next year.  we are looking into aquiring other property to start another park.       Due To COVID-19 and the clubhouse construction there will be no tent camping for the 2021 season and all rigs must be fully self-contained.  we are now conducting background checks And theres a 30 day waiting period if there any local court records found from the date of booking a site So we have plenty of time to process you. if your looking for a long term rv site we have a few really good options for you to come check out. Lodging  The clubhouse Construction is nearing completion and should be available in Novemb   weekly to monthly rental now . Guest access: From the moment you enter the camp and go across the massive bridge that gthat takes you over  over laurel creek you will begin to feel the beauty and power of this property, that lies along a section of an old rail road bed directly off Tn hwy 91 ~2 miles South of the Virginia tn border. The campground is located adjacent to the new Laurel Creek Trail which is a federally funded rail trail conversion project that cost over $350,000 so far and is a park like setting from the campground to the Virginia state line and is Destined to be extended directly into Damascus in the near future and will connect up with the famous Creeper trail! To access the trail from the 5th wheel head to the north end of the property, follow the gravel road up towards the bathhouse area you will see a trail that drops back down onto the old railroad Bed and then go about 50’ and your on the new trail. We are the only private property with direct access to this trail, if you go about 1/2 mile down the trail from here is a section of the legendary Boone Trail aka FS Butt Mountain trail which has been really improved upon recently and it goes all the way up to the Iron Range Trail which you can then hike directly into Damascus or all the way over to the infamous Backbone Rock even, this trail was The old Appalachian Trail Route before they made the new route the next Ridge west of here, but this area offers a much more peaceful hiking experience and is really amazing given the mild climate we get here with abundant wildlife  this place is awesome! Other things to note about hike-in sites:  There are two different areas that we offer hike-in sites here, as there are two massive ridges that rise up directly in back of the lower campground, the north ridge requires a very difficult hike with no gear delivery availabile yet and is only available upon special requests for now.  The South Ridges #11 campsite while you will feel totally remote offers views Of the valley below and of Highway 91, where you’ll be able to see and hear the motorcycles and logging trucks rumble through, which really makes for a spectacle.You May want to consider renting machines through a local outfit in Mountain city who can deliver For a very reasonable prices And ride the trails at Doe Mountain off road park one day too.   Leave No Trace sites-  Plan ahead and be prepare; Travel and camp on durable surfaces ; Dispose of waste properly; Leave what you find; Minimize campfire impact; Respect wildlife. Be curdious of other campers. Cutting, chopping or damage of any kind to trees and plants, large or small, is strictly forbidden. No removal of plants, trees or rocks. Digging is not allowed. Do not dismantle the rock fire rings. Do not pour out candle wax. Stay on marked trails. Pick up your trash and dispose of it  properly in The large trash receptacle in front of the garage which is put outside dailey . FINES FOR VIOLATIONS WILL BE IMPOSED.
