What a great campground. Very clean with beautiful surroundings. Two does came and bedded down behind our trailer during morning coffee. A wonderful place to stay.

Bear Mountain is a beautiful campground even in the fall when most leaves were already off the trees. Their customer service was great and very helpful and happy to accommodate us when we needed to stay an extra day. It’s close to everything you may need and also to the New River Gorge National Park. We will definitely be back.

Great campground with adequate space between each site. I believe each site has at least water and electric (for RV) which is handy. Conveniently located near Fayetteville/New River Gorge.

We enjoyed our stay at bear mountain. It’s close to all the tourist attractions or there are plenty of trails at the campground to keep you busy. WiFi sucked but our Verizon hotspot worked great. The road noise from route 19 was the only annoying thing.

Really nice campground a mile or so from the New River Gorge Bridge. Spend some time in Fayetteville, a quaint little town.

John Stever

Our site had no picnic table or fire ring, and the dump station was awkward due to the height of the sewer connection. The campground was a convenient location for our 3 day stay.

We had a wonderful time at your campground. It was very clean and quiet. The sites were nice and level and all amenities (water/sewer/electric) worked well. You are centrally located to everything at New River Gorge NP and being close to the highway was an easy on/off access. We would love to stay again if we’re ever back in the area!!

Great location close to New River Gorge NP visitor center. Pull through site 4 is worst of pull throughs. Too tight on the road. Close to 19 but not too noisy at night.

Nice campground. Sites are well spaced. We stayed in site 21 which was back-in site with FHU. Very few amenities but that’s the way we roll.

Very nice campground that is easy to access, and kids loved the playgrounds that are right by the site.
