We loved our stay at Ray’s! The staff was so nice. Our site was quiet and the amenities were great. I’d definitely recommend staying here and would come back if I was in the area again!

Great overnight visit. Very kind and accommodating office/campsite staff. Campsites were very clean, with not a speck of trash. Clean /basic bathroom and showers, sink for washing dishes, plus a washer/dryer if needed. The atmosphere was quiet and surrounded by woods. Saw several deer driving in. Other campers were quiet and polite. Would definitely stay again!

Booking can be a bit difficult/fruitless as I feel most people show up and take whatever is available in regards to tent camping. Love the campground and the amenities/proximity to climbing.

The check in process was very straightforward and the family was very kind! They provided us with a mallet when we forgot one for our stakes and offered us a complementary breakfast of empanadas and cheese bread! It was a fantastic stay! The campground was very clean and quiet

Love this place! Our little cabin "The Kentucky' was perfect for a group of 4. It was a rainy weekend so it was nice to have the outside covered porch so we did not have to be inside while the weather was bad. Bathrooms were and are always clean. And the Campground Host/Owner is so accommodating.

Campground Response

Thanks Colleen! Glad you had a good time.

The booking process was quick and simple, the folks that own the place we're super nice. The owners mom greeted us when we arrived and made sure we knew where to go (reserved sites on the left side of the campground). In the morning they had a WONDERFUL empanada breakfast and had firewood & ice on site. Full of other climbers, paddlers, and outdoorsy people who were super kind, relaxed, and down to earth. Even though there are designated sites, everyone's basically on top of each other, so get ready to make some friends for the night/morning. Recommend for similarly-minded folks!

Campground Response

Thanks, Katie!

Camp sites are pack very tight which makes it a noisy environment both late at night and early in the morning. The site are shallow so your tent is very close to a gravely road which make the sound of cars rolling very loud. It's disorganized, when we arrived other campers had taken over our picnic table, the guy in the office didn't seem bothered.
