Sorry I have to give you an "average" rating. But the lady on the phone was great! Daytime highway noise was bothersome to me and I didn't like walking my campsite weeds. I could not see what I was stepping into. Also, I was quoted a price of $35 but was billed (thru Rover) $49 and change.

Campground Response

I hate that you had some disquieting things happen during your 1 night stay. Highway traffic is always worst around a holiday. And please forgive about the weeds. Recent rain patterns have made it hard but the weeds will be taken care of. And yes, if you pay us directly, there is no extra charge for a pull-thru site, but on line it is $45 plus credit card charge. Again, thank you for your stay and your input. We take it very seriously. God Bless and safe travels. Marian

It was as expected. Little scary though. We were the only ones there!!

Campground Response

Thank you for your review. The other RV’ers were gone … still on holiday! The privacy fence and gate help keep the park safe. But the deer do pass through and the coyotes do howl! Hope all is well with you. Safe travels, and thank you for staying. M

Great place, clean, large roads and pads, easy to get around with a large camper. We will stay again.. could use a play ground for kids. And maybe wifi as well. Just ideas

If you are looking for a campground that is very private yet conveniently located I highly recommend Camp Pecan Bayou. It is centrally located between Baird, Cross Plains, Abilene and Coleman. This park is new with back in and pull thru sites which all have 30 and 50 amp plug ins. With it being out of the city, deer and wild hogs occasionally visit the campground. I highly recommend this campground.

This is a really nice, quite park. My favorite aspect was the size of the lots, lots of room!
