Barefoot Bay Marina and RV Resort is a family friendly waterfront resort located at the FM 1520 bridge on the south shore of Lake Bob Sandlin, a 9,400 acre lake. The property is just 4 miles west of Pittsburg, Texas. The RV resort enjoys a natural shoreline setting surrounded by beautiful trees deep in the heart of the piney woods.  Lake Bob Sandlin is very unique for Texas in that it is connected to Cypress Springs Lake and Lake Monticello by earth dams.

The marina sits in Barefoot and
is the only marina on the lake and the only dockside gas available on the lake. Barefoot Bay Marina and RV Resort consists of a full-service convenience store, 40 covered wet slips, 79 waterfront RV spaces, 7 cabins and a wide boat ramp.

Nestled on 20 acres of wooded trees, there is an abundance of wildlife, beautiful lakeside views and a large white tail deer population that frequently roams the grounds. We offer a majority of naturally shaded sites with picnic tables and barbeque grills. This is the only waterfront RV park on Lake Bob Sandlin that offers nightly, weekend, weekly, monthly and annual rentals. The park can handle even the largest RV with our 120-foot-long pull through sites.

Tent Camping is permitted at our park and adjacent land.  Tent campers get to enjoy the same great views and bath house amenities of the resort. Our Tent Camping area is open all year. Choose from primitive camping sites or sites with water & electric.

There are four different size cabins ranging from a small 300 sq ft cabin to our largest that is over 800 sq ft. Come spend a day, week, month or all Summer with us. We have everything you need to feel right at home.

Barefoot Bay Marina and RV Resort has a swimming area, clubhouse, fishing areas, sand volleyball, hot tub, game room and horseshoe pits. The convenience store has hot pizza, cold beer & wine, ice, self-service gas & diesel, full service propane, all major convenience items, fishing tackle section, a wide array of live bait, RV supplies and free air & water. Lake Bob Sandlin is a beautiful lake and fisherman’s paradise. Walmart is conveniently located only 15 minutes away. The lake offers year around fishing and has the best angling opportunities of any lake in Texas. There is something for everyone at Barefoot Bay Marina. Come have some fun in the sun with us.

Barefoot bay marina has really really bad service their cashier and manager are rude the only one thats nice is Amy and also they are supposed to be open at 7 and the manager cant seem to make it on time ive had enough i will never go back to barefoot again

Campground Response

Jeremy, If you were there on a Sunday, we open at 11 on that day. We have had some other feedback as well from customers wanting earlier opening hours on Sundays. Effective 12/10/2017 we will be opening at 7am every day of the week. We are sorry that you had a bad experience with the staff and we are looking into it. If you would like to give me additional details, you can email me directly at dianna@barefootbaymarina.com.

My family had a very lovely stay here! The staff was super friendly and accommodating for all of our needs. They were very knowledgeable on everything there was to do inside and nearby the park. The amenities were nice and I really enjoyed how everything was nicely maintained. The activities were loads of fun and very relaxing for the entire family. They had so much to do inside the park that we hardly left! The location was perfect as it was right by the lake and the marina was gorgeous, as was a lot of other beautiful scenery to check out. Overall it was a very relaxing stay and we can’t wait to go back! - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group

We went to Barefoot Bay Marina to hang out for the day and have some fun. Excellent place to stay with a lot of fun things to do. Walked the nature trail and saw many different kinds of trees and some flowers that I haven't seen before. Also heard many different species of birds. The RV Resort and Marina is right on Lake Bob Sandlin, so we did some fishing. Inside the full convenient store is also a dining area, game room with pool tables and video games, and a uniquely designed sports bar leading out to a large deck facing the water, where there is plenty more seating and a hot tub. Outside on the other side of the sports bar is more seating and bar side seating where the bar stools are actually swings. Behind that is a volleyball area and horseshoes, boat ramp and a beach. Plenty of things to do here for a fun day in the sun, plus karaoke every Friday night and live music every Saturday night, Restrooms are very clean and the convenient store has almost everything imaginable that you would need, if you were to stay here for any amount of time.

Very nice campground in Northeast Texas - easy to get to from I-30 off Hwy 271. We arrived on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend (had a reservation) and they were super busy but we got checked in very quickly. Our site backed up to the beautiful Bob Sandlin Lake. You can get good food from the Sports Bar & Grill on site. Very relaxing for the week we stayed there!!
