We love everything about Lake Hawkins RV Park. The staff is friendly, courteous, and experts on customer service!! The park is clean and the roads are recently repaved. Jesse and his wife are great camp host/hostess! Ryan and Leah are superb managing this park! We look forward to many more camping trips to this RV park!!

Lake Hawkins is a hidden gem. We live very close and have been slow to book here for some reason because of that (for some reason we would rather waste gas lol). We are so grateful we finally got to experience Lake Hawkins RV Park. This is a very clean park that has views, play ground, tether ball, little camp store, newly paved roads, and THE BEACH!! This sand was so impressive. usually the lake has muddy or rocky ground and that was not the case here. We spent all day at the beach and we kept saying "why have we been driving down to Galveston?" The water was rather clean and clear and the kids loved being able to touch for a good 15-20 ft out. This beach was well done with many picnic tables. The boat ramp was perfect and places to park your boat when not using. The RV spot we had was great. Plenty of shade, near the Playground so the kids could easily go play and we could see them easily, and awesome roads to bike around. My only complaint is that our site had tons of ants which was not pleasant to have climbing up you. I think some spray would go a long way on the concrete pads.

This park is a hidden gem and one of the best that I have even been to. The park host and people that run the park are all so friendly and helpful. The campsite sites and beach are beautiful and well maintained. There’s a cute little camp store on-site. They have quite a few spots that can easily accommodate big rigs, so this is definitely one of my top 3 favorite campgrounds! There’s also a wonderful little lake front Italian restaurant a mile or 2 down the road called Taste of Italy.. great food with a pretty dining desk overlooking the lake.
