Medicine Bow National Forest surrounds nearly the entire city of Centennial, with only the northeastern side not the forest. Medicine bow is a large national forest, which flows from northern Colorado into southern Wyoming. The park offers endless options to hike, fish, hunt, mountain bike. In the winter months, snowmobiling and skiing are options. The park has four mountain ranges – Medicine Bow Mountains, Parks Range, Flat Tops and Gore Range. After a day in the park, there are numerous Centennial RV Parks and Campground – Nash Fork Campground, Libby Creek Willow Campground and Brooklyn Lake Campground.
