Overview
Welcome to Whispering Pines, a family focused campground to help you get away from the daily grind. Surround yourself amongst tall pine trees as you hear the wind whisper tranquility all around you.
We are a family owned campground with a heart to serve people and provide a peaceful environment where families and individuals can enjoy making new memories. Whispering Pines is an event and retreat center that offers lodging and camping amenities. We also have a chapel ready to host your ceremony. We have RV hookups, tent sites, cabins, a lodge, and an event center. We can help you create a package to fit your needs and budget.

Our tent sites are different sizes, but they are large. They include a fire ring. They do not have electric or water. All tent sites are close to the activity center which includes indoor games such as ping pong, foosball and air hockey, tables and chairs and electricity for charging your phones. Activity center is open all night long. There are restrooms with showers available in our lodge.

Our Cabins are super nice! The average size is 15'x17' or larger. Most have a full size bed, bunk bed and twin bed. They also include a mini fridge, microwave, table with 4 chairs, long mirror and hanging rod with a shelf. They are airconditioned and heated. Each have their own fire ring. You will also have access to our volleyball and basketball courts. They do not have a bathroom. The restrooms with showers are in our lodge building which is next to the cabins.

Our lodge consists of 16 dorm rooms with 2 bunk beds in each. They also have a mirror, shelf and hanging rod. They are in the same building with the restrooms with showers. The lodge is heated and cooled. You will also have access to the community firepit, basketball and volleyball courts, activity center with games and more.

Want a weekend getaway, but still have work to do? Our Christmas Cabin is open! It’s the perfect place to feel at peace and have a small vacation! With a desk available and a coffee machine you can stay nice and cozy while getting work done! You can spend a lovely time with a significant other or your family! Not sure what to do or when to come? Our town, Geneseo, does a Christmas walk every year! Come and stay for the fun activities and hot cocoa! This cabin has been decked out for the holidays. It includes a bunk bed and a double bed, a table and 4 chairs, Keurig coffee maker, desk with chair, accent chair, electric fireplace, microwave, and mini fridge and tons of Christmas decorations and lights. You will love it!

Rules
Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Noise which can be heard at a distance of two camp sites away shall be deemed unreasonable.
Check in/out
Check in is at 3pm and check out is at 11am
No Smoking Policy
No smoking anywhere on the property
Campground Rules
Please use common sense when you are doing anything while on the campground. No subletting will be permitted. Proof of I.D. will need to be provided upon check in. If you would like to make a reservation for someone else please call the office. Illegal activity is strictly prohibited. Such activity shall be grounds for immediate removal from the campground and revocation of privileges. All campers and guests assume any and all risks of injury and damage to their person or property arising from and out of their entrance upon and/or use of Whispering Pines Events and Lodging. The owners are not responsible for any accidents or damages to persons or property. Any violation of the rules can result in the denial of entrance and use privileges. The owners of Whispering Pines Events and Lodging reserve the right to deny entrance and use privileges to any person.
Cleaning
Your lot is to always be kept clean. Please pick up trash and throw in trash cans or blue dumpster provided. No buildup of items that are not intended for yard use. Please remove things from the fire ring for the next guests that don’t burn, like cans and bottles.
Drugs
We have Zero tolerance for illegal drugs of any kind on the property.
No Alcohol
No alcoholic beverages allowed anywhere on the property.
Pets
Important Note for Cabins and Lodge Room Reservations: Please be aware that only Cabins 4, 5, 6, 10, and 12 allow one pet per room. The other Cabins and the Lodge rooms do not allow pets. The tent sites and RV sites allow up to 2 pets. If you are bringing a pet, please list the breed at check out and we kindly request that all guests keep their pets on a leash and diligently clean up after them.

There is ton's to explore!
Geneseo is known for its beautifully restored Victorian homes on tree lined streets reminiscent of a Norman Rockwell painting. A thriving retail business and colorful downtown, coupled with old-fashioned festivals, parades, local theatre group and ice cream socials complete the picture of life in Geneseo.
Downtown Geneseo offers many unique shops featuring gifts, clothing, home furnishings, furniture, restaurants, coffee shops and antiques. Other stores include Walmart, Farm and Fleet, and several major automobile and implement dealers. The free parking offered throughout the city is another benefit of coming to shop and dine in Geneseo!
There are also so many fun things to do nearby. We have two beautiful golf courses, a shooting range, bowling alley and arcade. The Hennepin Canal is only 2 minutes from us and many people enjoy kayaking and fishing.
