First time staying at Lundeens Landing. We were told they get flooded out being next to the river before we stayed. They need more gravel and excavation done in the far back sites. They could use another garbage receptacle in the park as well. The upkeep of mowing and weeds could be better. There are no shower houses or bathrooms besides a port a potty. Office was not open when you’d think it would be. Ok place by the river.

Campground Response

Park maps are available online or at the check-in office, which is open from 9 AM till 5 PM daily. Sorry you had trouble finding the restrooms. We have a general store and office with full restroom and shower house more than enough to accommodate. The Port-a potty you referred to was extra due to the busy tent camping season. We do have a lot of children and native wildlife in the park so we tend to keep our river fronts natural no weed sprays or killing the local plants. We do keep the actual spaces hand pulled and mowed. As for your other recommendations, we will keep those in mind moving forward. We are a small family owned park so always trying to do our best. Thank you for your review.

The only thing I can say about this camp ground is that it is a cross between deliverance fish camp and Fred Sanfords junk yard!!

Price is a little high and the web site to book does not always work. However, I love this camp ground. They treat you like family. They are adding more sites, activities and a haunted house. I would highly suggest checking this place out! I will definitely be staying here again!!!!

Very calm and peaceful setting, well off the beaten path. More of a weekend getaway for locals than travelers. We had not issues whatsoever, I think the landscape maintenance lacked a lot, grass needed attention and tree limbs damaged by previous storms needed some attention as well (Site 31). But overall, calm and relaxing.
