Right next to a highway, so a lot of traffic noise. It's in a fairly busy area, but the park itself was peaceful. Good parking for our trailer (30 ft), truck and extra car. Laundromat and showers on-site with coded entry and open 24 hrs.

Checked in around 5 and office was closed. Our site was parked next to a very sketchy site with cars coming and going constantly. Didn’t feel safe for our kiddos. Our code emailed to us was not correct to get into facilities so we had to get a code from someone else. Facilities were clean, just wish there had been staff there to help us.

We had a very nice stay. We were surprised that one of the stall in the men's room was out of order for quite some time. You can't control the airplanes flying over.

Thanks for an enjoyable stay. Very convenient for our over night stay.

Had a great little stay at this campground. It was clean and right in the heart of Sioux Falls, which made it easy to get anywhere in town with in 15 minutes. Glad we stopped.

Great little campground. Grounds are kept up nicely, bathrooms and laundry were nice and clean. The office staff was extremely friendly. Middle pull through sites are pretty close to eachother but if you are smart and look at the pictures you will see that before you book. We will be back and recommend this campground to others.

Disappointed in that they put us in a transient spot the size of a postage stamp for 5 days when there were open, nicer spots throughout the camp. Camp was a bit run down with garbage everywhere.

Campground Response

I wish we could speak about this but you didn't leave a name for us to personally respond to, however if you asked for a pull through site and never came to the office to ask for a back in then that is not the staff members fault we would have been more than happy to help in your needs before leaving a review and then nothing can be done.

Ok for a quick stay. Campground is worn down and our site was weed not lawn. Need to trim the trees as the site we were in had branches that dragged our A/C's and roof. Looked like they were "trimmed" by dragging on the the last tall RV that parked here. Mosquitos were horrible. As a nightly camper we were placed in a too small site surrounded by permanent run down campers.

We’re only giving 4 stars because the bathrooms were pretty clean. Otherwise it would be 3 stars. We live in Wisconsin and knew nothing about this campground except their posting online. To say they were right off of I-29 is an understatement as their “premium” site #418 (our site) was right up against the fence of the I-29 on-ramp! We thought paying for a “Premium” site had shade and a level paved park-spit; ours was up a hill of gravel and short of level. As well, the cable they advertised was not available anymore…”Too many problems” the office said. There are no fire pits but the picnic table was smaller but were nice. The roadside noise made even trying to be outside and talk, impossible. And sleeping was a challenge, making for an exhausting stay. Please choose another place to stay if for more than one night.

Campground Response

David- You did not book a premium site. You booked an extra large back in site. Nice place but where we were parked was too close to a major road, better sites are in the back of the park farther from the road.

This was a convenient overnight stop. Staff assigned us to an all asphalt lot with large coaches, we are in a small trailer. Requested another pull through further from roadway and happily complied. Thinking site 101, shaded, and so level we needn’t unhook or have to level. Convenient hookups, good table, quieter, and more space. Good laundry, clean showers, nicely done in a recent building. In the flight path of a regional airport, few flights, pretty quiet by 10 pm, no worries there.

Nothing particularly special except that it is very convenient to the highway and town. Level site even though it sat on a bit of a slope. Recommend this campground as a stopover.

Very nice campground also the staff is very friendly and helpful. We arrived while the area was having lots of flooding, we were just passing through in for a one-night stay. We were supposed to use I29 South to go home but it was closed. The staff when we arrived was getting ready to go home but took the time to let us know if we needed to, we could stay an extra night. I am not sure many places would have done that especially for a Saturday night.

We did not get the sites reserved either time we stopped and the second time we did not have a picnic table.

Campground Response

Hello Bill, I we are confused about your review. Could you please call the office so we can discuss this? 605-332-1173

We had to change our plans while traveling and the changes impacted our stay at the Tower Campground. The staff was very helpful with changing our reservations and promptly providing a refund for the unused nights. We ended up on their pull-through pad where we found all of the services operational and a very clean shower house! Easy access was also welcomed...we will keep them on the top of our list as places to stop when passing through Sioux Falls!

People were Friendly and Welcoming. The spot chosen for us could have been a bit more spacious and not so close to other campers. I did see that there were spots that could have met those accommodations.

Great little campground with a great location. Yes there are planes and some highway noise but the ability to be anywhere in the city within minutes outways that. Office staff is kind and helpful. Seems to be a lot of Glampers verses campers. Also seems Glampers complain A LOT. We will certainly return. Rates are very comparable to surrounding campgrounds.

Campground is located conveniently off expressway that is over priced for a being a parking lot with hookups for campers. When I arrived at the campground office was closed had me double booked finally in employee showed up to straighten up the mess that one up there people made with the booking. I was supposed to stay two nights, but one was plenty enough left early and stayed at a different campground

This campsite is semi-urban which means you can hear street traffic all night. The street lights and parking lot lights were not conducive for a good night sleep. A code was needed to get into the bathroom to avoid non-campsite individuals from using it as a public bathroom but we were not provided the code. I called the 2 phone numbers provided and one was supposed to be for after hour situations but no one ever called me back. Lucky someone gave us the code. Our campsite was double booked but we got there first so the other couple looked for an empty site hoping another person didn’t boot them out. Glad we left early the next morning. At best this place is slightly better than a Walmart parking lot because it has a shower.
