We stayed here for one night in the newer west side of the campground. Very nice sites and facilities. Showers were new and clean! Would stay here again if in the area. Very convenient. Thank you!

Hannes Zaugg

Because of the Covid19 pandemic, we could not travel to the USA, so we want to repeat the trip in one year (June-July 2021). Kind regards from Johann Rudolf Zaugg, Switzerland

Campground Response

Hi Johann! Not sure if you meant to give our campground a 3 star review? We have already adjusted your dates as requested previously! Thank you

Roger Presley

This camp ground did the job. We had a pull through. But we were super close to the other RV’s could not put out our owning. The office was closed when we arrived and we had a hard time finding our spot. There are really nice spots in the back of the camp ground. So if you snag one of those I am sure it is much nicer. We just basically parked in a spot in a parking lot. Like it said it did the job for the night we stayed. So I would stay there again if it was a quick stay.

Campground Response

We appreciate your feedback! We do typically reserve our pull thru spots as overnights for this very reason... some folks prefer easy in and out without having to disconnect so they may get on the road first thing in the morning. Our south campground does fill up a bit more quickly as it has much more grass and trees for shade, so if you choose to book with us again, we'd advise selecting "south campground". When our office door is locked and we are closed for the night, our after hours number is listed on all invoices as well as multiple spots on our bulletin board and connects you 24/7 with our on-site manager who is happy to help you find your spot, we also keep extra copies of the map on our overnight board in case folks get turned around. Best wishes and safe travels!

jon Cichucki

Beautiful property. Comfortable well maintained and easy in and out. Well run to handle all size units. Clean bathrooms.

Laurie Culbreth

The lots were HUGE, the utility hookups new, and the staff was nice. The only negative, and there is nothing the campground can do about it, it the noise from the traffic.

Jenny W

Great if you are just passing through and need a place to stay. The bathrooms were very clean and nice. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is the noise from the freeway, airport and roads.

Susan Holstedt

Tower Campground was very convenient to I-29. If coming from north or west, be sure to read directions on the website. Very clean.

Excellent kind staff, clean !!!!! laundry like new.. Negatives- no pool, and junky old van and camper by motel(not so nice). I highly recommend campground. Large sites, cleanest park. Easy on and off I-29.

Jennie Fuerst

Pull through spots were too close together. Had to wait for another RV to pull out before we could leave. Right next to 12th street no gate or security.not worth 60 bucks.

Robert Sherwood

First time staying here, the place was very clean and well kept. During the day it was great to see fighter jets taking off nearby. Had truck problems and needed to stay an extra night for repairs at the last minute and they accommodated our needs. Thanks much, we will be back.

Clean bathrooms. Friendly staff. The only issue i had was with the location. It's on the corner of hwy 29 and rt 42. The traffic noise was constant. We were also under the flight path of the SC airport when the wind was out of the NE.

Campground Response

Thank you for your feedback! Unfortunately, given our proximity to the routes you mentioned, some traffic noise is to be expected. Sioux Falls is not considered a "destination" spot for many travelers so proximity to major routes and convenience of location are important to a lot of our campers. That being said, as much as we'd like to limit the noise, flight paths and traffic noise are beyond our control.

Vernon Goodman

Very nice shaded campground with good hookups. Friendly, helpful staff. A little freeway noise outside, but damped down due to all the trees—no noise heard inside our trailer.

Eric Rondeau

Great park, super service & staff. Level, clean sites with good hook ups.

We just stayed one night as a stopping point to our final destination. Camp ground is clean and conveniently located just of the highway. We did find he traffic noice a bit loud

Gina Grote

Very nice campground, located in the city near the highways. Some road noise and city sounds but that’s what you get in the city! Level lot, full hookup, neat as a pin. Friendly staff.

Lisa Larsh

4.5 stars...Loved the way the management dealt with bookings during the pandemic. Everything was done through email. Pull through sites are paved and level with well maintained hookups. Clean bathrooms and laundry. Lots of small wildlife - birds, squirrels, rabbits. Much of the park is wooded giving it a country feel in the city. Our only complaint is it’s a very noisy area from street traffic, trains, as well as in the flight path of landing planes. Luckily we were tired enough that it didn’t keep us awake for long.

mabel lowe

Way overpriced $55 for full service but we could only use electric as were from Canada and our water system was winterized additional fee of $5.50 platform fee who knows what that is. Total $60.50 us or 80$ Canadian. Just too expensive most we’ve ever paid for a campsite. . Would be fairer to charge for electric only. Will be parking at Walmart next time! Unfortunate as this campground is the only one open from Winnipeg to Sioux Falls in February

Campground Response

Hi Mabel, unfortunately due to operating costs for us in Winter, our prices are quite fair as well as competitive with our competitors in the area. We are priced appropriately for our operation costs. The processing fee is mentioned on our website before you book as it is a fee that goes directly to Roverpass giving you the convenience of online booking. Being that all our sites are full hook-ups, unfortunately we don't have a reasonable way to manage whether someone is indeed just using electricity or if they're using all that we offer for the one price. We hope you will be able to find a campground that suits your budget for the Winter in the future! :)

The grounds were very well kept up an we got a lovely pull-through space. The bathrooms were very clean and up to date and a pleasure to use. The biggest negative was the highway noise and jet traffic overhead. So it is noisy, but close to the bike paths that we always enjoy. The office staff were very helpful!

Elizabeth Schreiber

You are packed in like sardines. Once we backed in, we were about 12 inches from the next camper. The traffic noise slows down at night, but is very loud. The location is convenient. Overpriced.

Judy Blaha

Campground is close to major highways, recreation, shopping & downtown area. Office staff is very friendly and helpful. Spaces are good sized, some grassy, some not. Dog park available. Only downside is the jet traffic. Turn on a fan, or other white noise to sleep. Will return another time for sure.

Jim Magnuson

Conveniently located off I90. Large campground. Facilities are well maintained. Nice pool. Sites are smaller and crowded. Need to watch out for kids and traffic. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Does not take credit cards.

Patricia Bear

We had a reservation on 8/22/19 but due to truck repair in SD, we had to cancel on 8/21/19. They fully refunded our deposit even on short notice which was greatly appreciated.

Annette Hubinger

Convenient location. But the road noise and the noise of the planes flying over were bad. Hard to sleep. Not relaxing at all. Shame because the sites were pretty nice.

Reid Stedje

My wife and enjoyed the campground very much. Our site along the fence had so much room. The bathroom and showers were great. The combination needed to get in to shower/bathroom was nice to make my wife feel comfortable. Being on the open spot by the fence you have to deal with traffic noise, but a site further in noise seemed less. Probably not so good campground for little children, but great for just my wife and I. Love how close to biking and other Sioux Falls attractions. Office staff and campground personnel very friendly!!!

Campground Response

Thank you so much for the great review! It can be a little noisy by the interstate, but we are glad you enjoyed your stay! Make sure to contact us again when in the area :)

Sandra Williams

Overall a decent campground. We appreciate their flexibility on our dates. The ladies shower could use an update. The light wasn’t working right in the men’s. We were there for a quick overnight.

jeffrey forster

Expensive and very noisy. Sits next to busy highway and under airport flight path. Had a pull through site that was little more than a large parking lot with a tiny patch of grass. Felt like we were staying at a highway rest stop. Would not stay there again.

Fran Moore

Made reservation online and no amount was given for the only site left. My credit card was charged $427.80 for a week!!!(daily of $55 a day plus tax and a $30 service charge that was not mentioned) The park did reimburse the difference for a weekly. The site which is the most expensive site in the park was in the middle of an asphalt parking lot!!! No trees or grass. On top of that when other RVs came in we where about a foot apart!!! Absolutely the pits for $55 a night. Talk about gouging the customer. Between the planes, motorcycle, work trucks and parking lot site Walmart looks good! Stay away!!!

Campground Response

Hello Fran, sorry to hear about your experience! That's a very new part of our campground as we have just renovated that area this year. We try to keep only over nights in our pull thru spots, but as has been a very busy Summer it is very difficult sometimes! The service charge is mentioned on our website as it is a processing fee established by Roverpass for the convenience of online booking. In any case, we hope you'll give us a chance in the future to change your mind about us!

Amy Glaubitz-Iiams

This RV park is close to everything and the bathrooms are awesome. Only issue we had was that when we arrived someone was in our reserved space, so we had to wait 45 minutes for the couple to return and move their camper. Office staff was very friendly and responded immediately. There were also alot of noise from the interstate and airport, but over all a nice park.

Rob Phillips

Site was not what we reserved and was very cramped where they put us. We cancelled the rest of our reservations and went to another camp ground. They did offer another site after we discussed the issue but we decided to leave.

Shelly Hood Knudsen

Fun friendly staff! Clean bathrooms as well. Nice and shady with well kept grass. We didn’t spend a lot of time at our site, but enjoyed the time we did have their. I would definitely stay again!

James McGrath

It's just a parking on asphalt. Kids walking thru that didn't belong in the campground that night.

Stayed Monday through Friday and enjoyed our stay. This campground is all about location as it is located close to all the major Sioux Falls shopping, restaurants, and bike trails. It is adjacent to Highway 29 and 12th St. so you are going to have road noise and airplane noise. The folks that run the campground are very nice. There are a fair amount of people who are staying in the campground long term and everyone we met was very nice. There is a large dog and small dog Park so we could let our little dog run around and chase the ball off the leash. The dog park area is not huge but it’s enough to get some exercise. We like to ride bikes and it was easy to get on the Greenway bike trail. You can’t get out of the campground without going up to 12 street though. We wish we could have had an opening in the fence so we could bike into the adjacent neighborhood while staying off of 12th street. You can ride the sidewalk on 12 street over to the bike trails though. All in all we had a very nice stay and would come back again.

Campground Response

Thank you for your review! Molly in our office loves the Sioux Falls bike trails as well! There are a couple back end ways of getting to and from the bike trails without having to ride on major paved roads like 12th street and we totally understand that big roads like that can be a pain! Next time you guys stop in, be sure to ask Molly and she can give you some tips!

Jin Zwieg

We have stayed several times and always enjoy our stay. Interstate is close to Campground but noise level is minimal we have never used the facilities so cannot come in on them

Diane Manulak

Friendly, paperwork ready when we arrived took less than 5 minutes to check in. Quiet, nice small dog park. Would stay again, we did not use their restroom so can’t comment on facilities. WiFi worked great.

Kevin Ramsay

We arrived at 3:00 pm on a Sunday, the office was closed. We had reserved, but there was no package for us. No tv, no wifi, no indication where our site was. Only a recorded message when calling the office phone number. Very disappointed.

Campground Response

Very sorry to hear about your experience! Unfortunately, our office hours are a bit shorter on Sundays but we hope to make it up to you in a future stay that you consider with us. Please let us know.

Dyan Torgerson

It seemed a little chaotic when we arrived because someone else was parked in the spot we were given and we did not have water hook-up like we had thought we would. The campground staff were very nice and easy to work with, we just moved to a different spot and they let us fill with water. The campground was very clean and had a dog park, we weren't able to use this time, but would definitely try next time. We liked that it was easy to get to, right off the interstate. Would stay again.

Mark VanLishout

Staff friendly. Restroom/showers clean and warm. Nice location. Quiet. Nice to have pull through with plenty of space for slides.

brenda haugen

Staff was awesome and very helpful.. park was very clean and wonderful restrooms and showers. Location was right in town and close to Hwy.. will come again.

Catherine Ashton

When we arrived with reservation for 50amp/water/sewer and pull through, were told the water was off at our site, but we could fill our water tank at another site they designated. Someone was ahead of us to fill, so it took time to do this and we were limited in our water usage. Were still charged full rate. I feel we should have received a discount. Also very close to two roads with lots of traffic. Will not return.

Terry Hoog

My wife and I really enjoyed staying at this campground. When we checked in the people were very friendly and spent a lot of time with us talking about sites of interest in the area. The campground itself was very nice. Kind of rustic and we felt like we are out in the woods. The bathrooms were very nice. Rather than having a communal shower area they have individual bathroom and shower areas set up so that you have lots of privacy. They were very clean and well-maintained. They are also very pet friendly which is a big plus for us. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area.
