Campground was nice, but sites were tight. As we were setting up (after hours) they had a water main issue that took several hours to resolve. Luckily they were able to get it fixed and water back on for us to fill our fresh water tank before freezing temps hit. Leaving the park was easier than getting in. Had to go down a stop light and through a parking lot to get in. A left turn lane in front of the park would have been nice. Sites were pretty level, so set up went pretty quick.

We enjoyed our stay. The Campground is 3 minutes from family. Easy access.

Great clean park right in the city and close to everything. Yes it's right off the interstate but so are the other parks in the area. Customer services was outstanding great group of gals in the front office. Will certainly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful campground. We only stayed one evening in the upper part of the campground. The pull thru sites were a bit ose but we were still able to extend our slides. It was pretty chilly outside so we had no plans of sitting out anyways. Full hookups, very clean laundry facilities and the staff was amazing. We would stay again.

It was just okay. Very crowded, no grass space, just cement slab, campers very very close together. Like staying in a parking lot. Stayed only one night and arrived after the office was closed. The most annoying part, is they sent two emails changing our spot. No big deal, but the spot they gave us in the first email they sent the same email to another guest so we didn’t know where to park. I left several phone messages and an email no one not even yet has ever replied. Then I found a second email a few hours after the first one telling us to use yet another spot. Very confusing and zero follow up communication from them. Did not stay the second night on our return back. Found a much nicer camp ground an hour and half away that was amazing, called New Frontier.

Campground Response

We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay. After reviewing our call log I do not see any calls from you on the 23rd of October nor any calls to the emergency phone, so we are a bit confused, also never once did we receive an email from you. When booking on this online booking system you are able to view detailed photos of the area your are selecting, typically those booking only 1 evening enjoy the convenience of the asphalt pull thru as it assures easy leveling and easy pull in and out. There are no secrets to the pull through sites in the upper middle west campground. Sometimes sites are changed for various reasons. booking accommodations and possibly maintenance. We send out emails and reminder emails so that there is not any confusion upon arrival. We also put a packet with your name on it in the display window with all needed information along with directions to your site number, to avoid confusion. We are sorry if that was not easy to follow for you. We wish you safe travels.

Pros Takes good Sam Great internet Cons Nobody in the office. Was not an issue for us ,but could be a con for others. Under a flight line or flight path or whatever its called when planes go over a lot. We got used to it. Sites CCCLLLOOOSSEE I mean, talk about reach out and touch someone. As we only stayed 2 nights we were put out in the otherwise empty lot. Just the hook ups. This is fine (for us) for a night or two but not for any length of time. They did have a nicer area, but it looked like it was for people who just live stationary in their RV. Overall a fine place to stay. We would stay again

This park was not what was advertised. We were out literally in a parking lot. We were so close to our neighbors that we had to be careful not to step on their sewer hose. No Wi-Fi, no cable and nobody would answer the phone. When we did talk to them they were very rude. Definitely not worth $60.00 a night.

Campground Response

Kathy- exact photos of the park are on this booking system so you know exactly the site you are selecting. You left voicemails on the office phone after hours to which staff called you back when arriving the following morning. 2 emails were sent to you prior to your arrival with codes for bathrooms and Wi-Fi, along with an after hours emergency number- which is also posted at the front office door. When staff did call they tried to explain but were not given the opportunity as they were continuously over talked and yelled at. We are sorry that you forgot that all codes and emergency numbers were in your confirmation email sent out and explained to you at the time of booking which was 3 weeks prior to your arrival.

Such a nice campground, lawns are nicely kept up and clean, bathrooms and laundry facilities clean too. The young office gal was very sweet and helpful. We certainly will stay again.

We stayed here a couple nights on our way back to Ohio from the Badlands and Black Hills so we could see Sioux Falls. I expected a city based campground to be louder (and this is very loud since it buts up against the highway) but it was not clean (eating utensils, bottle caps, etc on our site) and the office never calls back - left a voicemail a few days before check in and after we did after hours check in since we got incomplete information. No return calls. Not a very nice campground.

Nice campground. Large sites on the outer ring on the south end. We enjoyed our stay, was a perfect place for us while we worked the Sandford International Gold tournament.

Great water pressure. Friendly people, clean bathrooms and sites were paved for campers with grass and picnic tables.

This was a convenient stopover for a couple of days, easy access from I29, however it was a combination of full time folks, apartments and more like a parking lot then a campground. Very nice laundry and kept clean

I had a great but too short experience with them. They upgraded my site before I came in. I didn't ask why, but the site was obviously better that the previous one. Also, because of a mishap on my part, nothing to do with them or anything regarding the camp site, I had a bad day, very frustrating!! I don't want to say what happened, buy they made a bad experience a lot better for me. I would hate to sat how they helped me out. I would not want them to be obligated, where someone might EXPECT them to do the same for them. These are obviously some good people running this business! They want to do what they can to make our stay enjoyable. If I can, I would with out question come back.

Campground Response

Hi Jeff, I am so glad you enjoyed your stay. Sometimes when someone is having a rough day, a little kindness goes a long way. It was my pleasure to help you out! I too hope you can come back again soon! - Brenda

Great campground. Started one night. Easy in, easy out from interstate

The space (432) was awesome. Big, grassy corner lot with picnic table and fire ring. The owners/managers were great. The only downsides are the constant traffic noise at all hours, and the interior of the park looks like a residential RV Park. Messy, cluttered, unkept. Great park for a night's respite from traveling, but wear earplugs.

Nice large site with good shade. Close to I-29 so expect some road noise.

Nice campground, clean bathrooms and nice staff. We stayed for two nights in order to go to the Badlands National Park and Wall drug. Wall Drug was within walking distance and the national park was only 10 miles away. Only drawback is the train comes through at 3 o’clock in the morning at least 2 to 3 times each evening. Other than that we’d stay here again just because of its location.

Customer Service was exceptional. The day we were to arrive we were moved to a better site due to a cancellation. In 93 degrees shade trees made a big difference. The campground was spacious. The pavement had a pad for our tow vehicle to the front and left side of the RV pad. That’s was a first. The campground is centrally located and had good lighting throughout.
