Tanglewood Camping RV Park is one of the best places in Pennsylvania's "Lake & Canyon Country" for star gazing and relaxing, as well as fun planned activities for the kids. When you are camping with us, you'll feel that you can not only watch the stars, but that you can almost reach out and touch them. That's just one of the magical things that can happen when you camp with us on Mount Tanglewood!

This is a beautiful mountain top setting with a 5-acre spring fed lake that is easy to relax by. This campground really does a great job to bring a great family-friendly experience by hosting family activities every weekend. They have great selections of sites to choose from (RV, cabins, tent, and primitive!) that have all the amenities you could need. There are a lot of wonderful activities to do like catch and release fishing, hiking trails, a playground, volleyball, and so much more. This place not only focuses on great family times but also pet friendly with the dog park. The location is perfect as not only is there so many beautiful places to visit that is very close by that everyone should check out. Overall this is a wonderful place to bring your family to or stay for a night if passing through.

Bicycles

Bikes are permitted and encouraged. No bike riding after dark. CHILDREN 12 AND UNDER MUST WEAR A HELMET, THIS IS A PENNSYLVANIA STATE LAW.

License Free Fishing

Catch and release only! Please be gentle with our fish when you are releasing them.

Lake Policy

Swimming at your own risk is permitted in the roped off swim area only. Children must NOT swim alone. NO pets in swim area.

Alcoholic Beverages

Alcoholic beverages are permitted at campsites only. Do NOT walk around campground with alcohol.

Visitors

Invited guests of registered campers must register at the Lodge and pay the visitor’s fee before entering the campground. Additional parking is across from the lodge.

Reservation Policy

A 2 night minimum stay on weekends in July and August – requires a 1 night deposit. Three (3) night minimum stay on Holiday weekends – a 2 night deposit required. Deposits accepted by check or money order only. Deposit required within 5 days of making a reservation. NO sites held without a deposit. We do our best to honor requested sites, but DO NOT guarantee.

Pet Policy

QUIET pets with a CURRENT vaccination and license are permitted. Pets must be on a leash AT ALL TIMES. No exceptions. Please clean up after your pet. NO pets are permitted in the rental units and they are not permitted in the swim area. 2 DOGS PER SITE MAXIMUM. NO EXCEPTIONS. *BARKING DOGS WON’T BE TOLERATED* Any abuse of any animal, wild or domestic, will not be tolerated and grounds for immediate eviction from the park.

This place has it all for all kinds of family fun! The staff was so welcoming we felt like long time patrons. There were a plethora of great sites to choose from that were very spacious with all the amenities we could ask for and more! The activities were so much fun we didn’t know where to start but ended up doing most of them which was not only fun, adventurous but very relaxing. The location is gorgeous as there are so many beautiful and serene sights from all around the park!
