The campground was very nice. We were in #1 with a 27 foot camper, was a little tight getting it into place only because of the playground fence. The rest of the spots should be no problem. Well maintained. New bathhouse is great. New laundry facility. Very very close to the creek for all your water activities!

I made this reservation in February, I was thrilled to take my first camping trip to a local campsite. Due to Covid-19, my family and I were not able to come to your camping facility. I called your facility to speak to someone, left a message and received no return phone call. I am very disappointed in these unprecedented times, to not get any refund. Back in February there was no way for me to know that PA would be partial red and partial yellow, when this reservation came about. I feel it is very short sighted of your facility to not give refunds in this trying time and am disappointed in your process.

Went to Campground for a short weekend stay. We had a great time, everyone was very friendly. I was also very happy that the camp ground provided firewood for a very reasonable price as we did not bring enough along. View was amazing. We will definitely be returning.

Campground Response

My husband and I had a great experience glamping and Pettecote Junction. Our time there was very relaxing. It was quite and peaceful. The view was spectacular. We enjoyed renting bikes and riding the bike trail. Everyone there was very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely recommend this trip to anyone who ask. Thank you for the great get away!

Booked 2 nights in the glamping tent and it was as advertised. Years ago would pitch a tent on the same piece of ground, was nice to relive memories. If you enjoy the outdoors the campground is for you. Tons to see and do outdoor wise. The owner helped me arrange the charging of my Tesla when I couldn’t reach the cord to my tent. Very kind of him.

Campground Response

Thanks for your great review Aaron! We love when folks appreciate and enjoy the beautiful area. Hope to see you back again sometime!

We had a good weekend last weekend there. 2nd time there, but first time booking it myself. We chose an electric/water hook up site since we have a baby but think we wont bother next time since it wasnt totally worth it for us. We had only campers around us and we had site 18 but felt like it wasn't meant for renters due to location/parking issue. We love the campground though and enjoyed being close to so much activities if we so chose to participate. Swimming in river Biking on the trail right by campground Tubing/kayak in river 🎣 fishing Volleyball/basketball/playground area for children are inside campground A little bookshelf box is by office They also have movies you can rent in office (we didnt). Hoping to come back again and possibly more regularly. *Note* do wish the stalls had more privacy for bathroom and showers

Campground Response

Thanks for the review! Yes, there are many things to do here if you enjoy the great outdoors.

Had an awesome time at this campground the last few days. I wanted some peaceful time to myself at a place where I could ride the Rail to Trail easily. This campground has direct access to the trail about smack in the middle of it’s length. It also has direct access to the creek for tubing and kayaking. The staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. I felt safe camping here by myself and as it was during the week, it was not busy and they nicely spaced the few tenters apart for privacy. One small item I did not see in any comments is that if you need reading material, there is a little library attached to the bulletin board near the office. Nice touch!

Campground Response

Thank you for your kind words! Our hope is that the campground is a place of quiet retreat (especially during the week) for all who come. Glad you enjoyed your stay!

Bathrooms to small, pay for showers should be notated on website. Campsites to close together. Pa. state parks better, less cost and free hot showers.

Campground Response

Our bathhouse size showers and stahls are standard size and we do notify guests that our showers take quarters. We do this to conserve water. We do not promote large size sites although many people say they love our spacious sites... (all matter of perspective) What we do promote is the Pine Creek where you can trout fish, kayak, tube, canoe and explore and also the Pine Creek Rail Trail voted one of the top 10 by USA Today. Our campers love that they have access to both the creek and rail trail directly from PJC, the only campground that offers this amenity.
