Johnny's at the Beach

My husband and I only stayed here for one night but thoroughly enjoyed it. We were hooked up right next to the dock where we could hear the many different kinds of birds. Our host, Shawn, made us feel very welcome and invited us in the late afternoon to witness the feeding of the birds, crabs and resident seal with a collection of chum acquired during the day. We loved this place!

This marina is on a spot of land that sticks out into the sea and has a lot of full time patrons as it’s a beautiful place to stay at. The owners are nice, affable, and accommodating. There are seafood restaurants nearby (yum) and some low sand dunes that was an easy breezy walk. There is no cable, washroom facilities, showers, or wifi. The place is essentially a parking lot, and the lots are small, narrow, and back-ins only. I liked it because it felt "real" and not tourist.
