A smaller, family run park with lots of trees, on Cedar Key itself. Some of the spots are smaller than others, some are closer together than some other parks (an excellent excuse to say hello to your neighbor and visit a bit!), but they have a variety of sites and should be able to accommodate most folks. We had some large 5th wheels in our group, as well as Class A's towing, and we all got in ok. Some of the sites are next to community docks, where you can watch the lovely sunsets. Some are pull throughs closer to the small clubhouse and bathhouse. There is also a small motel on site, and at least one camper they rent out. There are all sorts of artsy and quaint things though out the campground…picnic tables painted purples and pinks, a checker game table set up with seashells, a hen house, and a little vintage trailer out front that looks like it was painted by a hippy. There are flowers and turtle shells scattered throughout the landscaping. There is a cafe on the property that serve breakfast and lunch, and it's all home cooking. They are famous for their breakfasts and ribs. The folks were super friendly. It's about a mile to the other side of Cedar Key; some rode their bikes, a couple rented street legal carts from the CG. We stayed there over a long weekend with a group of 27, and couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
