Our family-owned park is newly purchased in 2018, and is prided on providing exceptional service and a memorable experience to our visitors. Since purchasing the park, it has been consistently updated, adding several new amenities, ensuring it is the most comfortable stay possible. Some of the new amenities include, an office building, full-laundry facility, full- bathroom with shower, metal privacy fence, BBQ grill, picnic table, dog run, and many trees and roses were planted to brighten up the park.  Each site offers free basic Wi-Fi, water, sewer, and LED lights on the RV pedestal making it easier for utility connections. There are plenty of pull through sites with 40-50 foot shade trees, which is nice for getting out of the New Mexico heat. Hatch is a small, quaint, and relaxing place to pass through any time of year. It is known as the "Chile Capital of the World," for growing both red and green chile. Thousands of people visit from around the country to buy and stock up on their chile for the year. During harvest time, you can smell the chile as it is being roasted, stroll through various chile stands, and see the locals making beautiful ristras. It truly is an experience to be had! This park is centrally located and within walking distance to several unique locally family owned and operated restaurants. The most notable is the famous Sparky’s Burgers and BBQ, but Valley Café Restaurant is a personal favorite! You will also find authentic chile stands, food/fruit stands, as well as, local and imported hand-made Mexican folk art, including pottery and iron figurines. It is a short drive to either, Caballo or Elephant Butte Lake, should you want to spend some time on the water! Or if you want to take the short drive into the “Big City” of Las Cruces, and do some dining and shopping you can do that too! Lil' Abner’s RV Park is located in Sierra County in Southern New Mexico.  With easy on and off I-25 Interstate.  If traveling north take exit 59, if traveling South take exit 63 to I-187 state road.  We have a beautiful views of the Caballo Mountains and night skygazing. A perfect place to stop and get recharged for the next of driving or stay awhile. with convenience of a General Store onsite with a full line of fishing tackle & live bait with Camping, RV and boating needs. Caballo Lake entrance is mile and half south of the RV Park where guests can enjoy fishing, boating, waterskiing, swimming, paddle boarding, canoeing & kayaking. With a large boat ramp to quickly get out on the water. Lil' Abner’s RV Park has quick access to the local Hot Springs; Museum’s; Ghost Towns and Geronimo Trail; White Sands; Shattuck Vineyards and Winery; T or C Brewery. Also Trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding, ATV & Off Road. The Caballo Mountains are full of beautiful rocks for those gem & rock hounds. Along with Gold Panning. And an abundance of birds for those birders. Each site has full hookups with metered 20/30 and 50 Amps;  water and sewer hookups. Level sites with 6 back in spaces 45L x 30W and 8 pull throughs 75 L x 21W.  Drydocks available. Electric is paid separately and at time of check out. During COVIED-19  no picnic tables will be on site.  Please plan accordingly.  Masks are required to be worn when entering store. Arrival time must be at least 15 minutes prior to Dusk so that you have time to set up and connect.  No exceptions after that time period.   A great place to stay at any time of the year. The Palomino Campground is located at Caballo Lake State Park and is a beautiful, quintessential New Mexico spot. Tired of the water? Visitors and locals alike enjoy land sports such as biking, hiking, horseback riding, birding and picnicking. Additionally, you can expect excellent winter time skiing, jet skiing and wind surfing, and with the iconic New Mexico sunrises and sunsets, be sure to bring your camera to take some great shots.

The Leasburg Dam State Park is located along the Rio Grande river in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and is the ideal spot for your next southwestern excursion. Fishing is one of the most popular activities as you could imagine; so look forward to fishing from the pier and looking out at a magnificant natural terrain. You can also go kayaking and canoeing on the water, and when you're on land, enjoy great hiking and biking trails. Visitors also love to go picnicking at dusk to enjoy an iconic New Mexico sunset. Don't forget your binoculars! Birding is another popular past time at this park.

Located near the serene Caballo Lake and mountain ranges is the Caballo Lake RV Park. If you're looking for a quiet getaway in an idyllic desert setting, you'll especially enjoy your time at this park. Look forward to a quick walk to the beach at dawn or visiting the gold mines of ghost town nearby. Unlike other parks, Caballo Lake RV Park doesn't have a nearby train creating noise pollution, which serial visitors to the lake especially appreciate. They also love the hot mineral baths near the site.

With RV and tent sites available near the Caballo Lake, Appaloosa Campground is one of several campgrounds in the area. Popular especially among RVers who frequent the area, the campground is great for fishing at the lake, boating, wildlife viewing and of course, some pretty majestic New Mexico sunrises and sunsets. Walk to the nearby park office to chat with the rangers about the best canoeing, horseback riding and hiking spots in the area, and be sure to spread a blanket at least one evening to enjoy the cool twilight weather. The area is especially known for kite boarding and wind surfing so look forward to that!

The Stallion Campground is located at Caballo Lake State Park, a beautiful New Mexico oasis. The beautiful Percha Dam State Park is located along the Rio Grande river and is shaded by cottonwood creating a cool, mild environment for visitors to enjoy.
