Our family-owned park is newly purchased in 2018, and is prided on providing exceptional service and a memorable experience to our visitors. Since purchasing the park, it has been consistently updated, adding several new amenities, ensuring it is the most comfortable stay possible. Some of the new amenities include, an office building, full-laundry facility, full- bathroom with shower, metal privacy fence, BBQ grill, picnic table, dog run, and many trees and roses were planted to brighten up the park.

Each site offers free basic Wi-Fi, water, sewer, and LED lights on the RV pedestal making it easier for utility connections. There are plenty of pull through sites with 40-50 foot shade trees, which is nice for getting out of the New Mexico heat.

Hatch is a small, quaint, and relaxing place to pass through any time of year. It is known as the "Chile Capital of the World," for growing both red and green chile. Thousands of people visit from around the country to buy and stock up on their chile for the year. During harvest time, you can smell the chile as it is being roasted, stroll through various chile stands, and see the locals making beautiful ristras. It truly is an experience to be had!

This park is centrally located and within walking distance to several unique locally family owned and operated restaurants. The most notable is the famous Sparky’s Burgers and BBQ, but Valley Café Restaurant is a personal favorite! You will also find authentic chile stands, food/fruit stands, as well as, local and imported hand-made Mexican folk art, including pottery and iron figurines.

It is a short drive to either, Caballo or Elephant Butte Lake, should you want to spend some time on the water! Or if you want to take the short drive into the “Big City” of Las Cruces, and do some dining and shopping you can do that too!

We hope you are able to come and visit our great Village of Hatch, and look forward to your stay at our park. Should you need any assistance please do not hesitate to reach out, as we are happy to help in any way necessary.

Very nice place to stay, owners were very accommodating, we just stayed the one night but it was perfect for a 40 footer with a toad.

Great RV park, we have been stopping there for several years. Owner is friendly and the park is close to shopping and restaurants.

Great location, within easy walking distance to business district (chili stores, grocery stores, hardware, restaurants and museum). Across the street from a well-stocked truckstop. Small gravel park with many quiet, tidy long-term residents but also spaces for those passing through. Small laundry and single bathroom with toilet, sink, shower but no toilet paper (neither time we stayed?). There’s no one in the office but registration is easy online or on site and owner is available via phone. We would stay here again.

This place is in the perfect spot. Walking distance to anyplace in town. Sites are small but clean. The staff is very helpful. We will be back for more chilies next year!!

Nice and clean park. Convenient location. Space #3 was long enough for our 35 foot coach and our towable vehicle. Will definitely stay at this rv park again!

The park was easy to find , pulled right into our spot . Clean bathrooms and shower. No one around but called the number and they answered right away and gave us what we needed . Ate several meals at Valley Cafe excellent food . Love Hatch but the sidewalks pretty much fold up at 3 pm . A quaint place excellent for the cost . Happy to see they are adding spots.

There is no onsite manager, which leaves travelers to find their own site. We thought we had site #1but it was already occupied. We would have appreciated info on restaurants in immediate vacinity as we did not unhook car. No one came by when we were there.

Easy to locate. Great access to I25. Quiet and clean. Hookups were well planned.

Other than my GPS being off ... very helpful when I called to find it. Actually easy. Easy to pull in and out. Good utilities. Didn't use the laundry or bathroom. Small park and quiet. Would stay here again.

The positive: Easy access to I25. Walking distance to restaurants and downtown area. Hatch is a very cool village! The Negative: No staff on site. I had booked a site that showed vacant online, that had a long term resident occupying it. Lots of long-term campers who encroach into vacant shade sites. Sites are narrow and small.

Clean, easy in and out and handy to I25. No staff onsite but no problems with reservation in place.

James Girard

It was very easy in and out. Many in walking distance.

Basic for overnighters, very clean grounds, good hook-up, bathhouse is modern but not heated. Easy walking distance to the chili shops on the main street which was our main objective for staying here. We will stop again when passing through the area

We stayed here when our reservations for Percha Dam State Park were canceled due to COVID. The spaces are small but the RV park is relatively quiet. Our space was under beautiful shade trees and made sitting outside very comfortable. I would suggest that trash cans be placed around the park and signs should be posted throughout the park telling pet owners to clean up after their pets. There was a lot of pet waste around the park. Also, when reservations are confirmed, the owner should share the internet information as well as the code to use the public restrooms.

Campground Response

Hi Lynn, Thank you for your review, I want to address some of your concerns regarding your stay at the park. This park was purchased from a previous owner in 2018, with site sizes already in place. The sites comfortably allow trailers to pull in with more than enough space on each side, and allows for all slide-outs to be released. There is a big metal trash bin at the back of the park for all guests to use. The reason there is only one trash bin is to prevent people from loosely throwing their trash, and possibly having the bins knocked over and have spilled trash all over the park. Instead, there is one bin that requires trash to be tied and deposited so it is all consolidated to that one area. As far as the posted pet signs with rules and regulations, (also reminding owners to clean up after their pets), there are actually two located within the park. One of them being at the registration station, and the other by the designated dog area. There is a park manager that walks the park each night and makes sure the park is clean and free of loose trash, debris, and dog waste. The last of your concerns deals with the restroom facility. It is actually NOT a public restroom, but one that is available to guests who choose to purchase that amenity for the length of their stay. Since COVID-19 the restroom facilities have been CLOSED to guests. We take all concerns seriously, as we strive to continuously improve. We hope you will visit us again!

We spent one night there and found it to be clean and well maintained. The only thing that we found interesting is no one on site as far as management. Good or bad, who knows. We had no problems at all and will stay again. Larry
