The Jackson Hill park & Marina and is a great spot for a fun and adventurous outdoor vacation right by the water. Travelers can look forward to plenty of wide, open spaces, great opportunities for sunset viewing and stargazing. Get ready for excellent fishing for bass, crappie and catfish and bird watching and wildlife viewing; bald eagles, alligators, deer and river otters are common at the marina. The Heartland RV Park is located in the picturesque Texas town of Huntsville and is a great spot for an authentic southern vacation. Campers can look forward to a number of attractions just beyond the campground including the Sam Houston National Forest, Texas Prison Museum, Sam Houston Memorial Museum, and the Walker County Historical Commission. There are also a number of other historical sites such as the Hearts Veterans Museum of Texas, Gibbs-Powell Home Museum, and a list of great restaurants, golf courses, lakes, and bars to enjoy.  64 Pull thru and 9 back-in sites, most sites have some shade.
