Scenic, quiet, and welcoming — definitely worth a visit. We stopped here in a small Class A for a few days, traveling from New Orleans to south Texas in January. Hugest oak trees! Stunning lake views! Too cold and windy for us to boat or fish, but we saw die-hards out there. No WiFi really; ATT cell worked ok for us. Friendly hosts, ready to help. Laundry available there and a little store (nearest grocery is not close, so come well stocked). Grassy site was level. We liked #27 to pull through, had a lake view out the front window, and we could hide a bit from the wind. Sites are not clearly marked and close, but great for groups.

A great, laid back spot with beautiful scenery. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I would give it 5 stars if there were a bit better check-in / parking instructions (especially when arriving after dark) and if the wifi was functional. We came in the slow season when there was lots of room and openings. I would have like to have stayed a couple more days but we were on a schedule. I'm not sure how different the place is during the busy season.

The view of lake Arthur is great. It is a pleasant place to be.

If I could give 4.5 stars I would have. :) Cons: -grass could have been better kept/cut -ants - could easily be fixed with some pest control/yard treating. -poorly marked spots- sort of a parking "free for all" Pros: -SERVICE! - The sweetest owner! What this place lacked in the cons list was made up for with the kindness and hospitality. -poorly marked parking - what was initially a con turned into a pro for our group as we were able to turn our campers and create a little yard area and face one another. -boat access - well kept area, great boat parking! -beautiful views!! -playground area for the kids Overall a great place, some room for improvement but would return! :)

If you want out of the way no frills down to earth on the water this is it. Friendly staff. They love their visitors.

Beautiful hidden gem! Quite and very clean. I wished that they would of had internet. Very nice hostess. We would come back!

It's exactly what I expected Old country on a lake. I got a huge spot with lake view. I have my own wifi devices and was able to run 2 back to back live webinars before cracking open a few cold beverages. Very peaceful and safe.

There's no wifi, like stated han't worked since the hurricanes. Spots are on top of each other and need some attention. The park is quite and peaceful.

This is a very old park; spots are small. 1st time there was expecting so much more from pictures they had to have been old. The putt putt was rotten, overgrown with grass. The dumpsters stunk hadn't been emptied in a while. The owner was very nice but know it was our 1st time seems like she should have shown us spots we had to walk around. Some spots are impossible to get to. Needs lots of updating.

The trees are so beautiful there. I loved walking around and taking photos. The lake was beautiful and glistened in the sunlight in the mornings. Geralyn, who manages the place, went above and beyond and was so pleasant. If you go when it's hot, be prepared for the mosquitoes at night. We were there at the end of June and into July and it was pretty hot. So the mosquitoes would come out around 8:30 pm. We tried all the different sprays and candles but didn't seem to phase them. Be prepared to bring the party inside. :) There is a truck that comes by and sprays which was very helpful. That's the norm though for hot, humid weather. You just gotta be prepared. Thanks Geralyn and Reed for your hospitality!

If you want a nice place to relax, fish and enjoy yourself, Myers Landing meets your needs. It is in a rural setting, so if you are looking for nightlife, you might need to settle in a more urban setting. The highlight of the park is the community store where everyone congregates at 4:00. You won't find nicer people anywhere. Whether it is playing cards, a potluck, a cold beer or just good conversation, it is happening at the store. We plan on staying at Myers the next time we are in Louisiana. My only suggestion is for the management to put some gravel in some of the rv spots for when it rains.

Not your usual campground, which is good! Friendly and accommodating host and family. Right on a river, saw 2 barges go by, cows and horses in the pasture. Quiet only noise is birds and the owls at night. We stayed 7 nights.

This campground is right on the water and in the middle of Cajun Country in South Louisiana. Many of the sites are shaded by large, moss draped oaks and pecan trees. Fully stocked store, full hookups, decent WiFi, and a nice quiet setting. We will be going back.

Absolutely beautiful! Staff/owner are wonderful. Little store has all the basics and some local flavor. Really enjoyed our time here. Would definitely recommend.
