Oelwein City Park Campground is a campground located near Oelwein, Iowa. It features 40 shaded campsites that are big rig friendly. Five of them are pull through accessible. Wilder Park offers 88 acres of camping, picnicking, walking, biking, or playtime! We are conveniently located 1/4 mile east of Allison, Iowa on Highway 3. Our amenities include two fishing ponds, a dog park, 18-hole frisbee disc golf, sand volleyball, two playgrounds, picnic shelters, mini golf, pickle ball court, BMX pump track, large in-ground chess/checkers board, Wilder Mountain, intra-park hard surfaced walking/biking trail connected to Rolling Prairie Trail, 18-acre wildflower prairie, forest, severe storm shelters, library kiosks, entertainment stage with free summer concerts and on-site camp host.  

The campground is located along the Pecatonica River and Tri-County Recreational Trail.  Ride and enjoy the many sights along the famous Cheese Country ATV Trail and local Darlington ATV Club Trails. Visit Mathys Ace Hardware for your non-resident trail pass, if needed.Launch your canoe and paddle the Pecatonica River or fish & swim along the banks of the river. Take a stroll along the lighted walking path.  Just sit and relax and enjoy the wildlife along the water’s edge!Don’t forget to enjoy shopping and eating in Darlington, or travel a short distance to historic Shullsburg or Mineral Point.  The possibilities are endless!Free parking for daily trail users is available.
