The campground is located along the Pecatonica River and Tri-County Recreational Trail.  Ride and enjoy the many sights along the famous Cheese Country ATV Trail and local Darlington ATV Club Trails. Visit Mathys Ace Hardware for your non-resident trail pass, if needed.
Launch your canoe and paddle the Pecatonica River or fish & swim along the banks of the river. Take a stroll along the lighted walking path.  Just sit and relax and enjoy the wildlife along the water’s edge!
Don’t forget to enjoy shopping and eating in Darlington, or travel a short distance to historic Shullsburg or Mineral Point.  The possibilities are endless!
Free parking for daily trail users is available.

Park Includes

- 32 Designated Camping Sites: 30 Electrical sites; 2 non-electric sites
  8 electrical sites under a grove of walnut trees with 30-amp service
  22 electrical sites in the open with 50-amp service

- All designated sites include a fire ring and picnic table
- Two group fire rings under a grove of walnut trees
- Restroom/shower facilities for campers and ATV Trail users
- Recreational Vehicle Dump Station
- Water for campers at the Dump Station
- Playground equipment
- Canoe launch
- Handicapped fishing pier

- Basketball Court

Amazing campground. We have been camping here since 2006. Love the changes that have been made. (extra sites, port a pot, online reservations). We would have to bring camper up on a Wednesday to stay for the weekend to get a spot, we were coming from Illinois so it is a 1hr and 20 min trip one way. Thank you for the online reservations. Place is quiet, great trails, wonderful amenities, and wonderful friendly people. Extra bonus Mike's Engine Works and all of the Eating establishments.

Everyone had issues with their electric. We would get one person fixed and another one would go out. Otherwise it was uneventful. Just a bad weekend for them. Also, I've never had to pay to use a shower.

It was a great park with easy access to the trails. Canoe Fest was going on when we got there which gave options of things to do. Even with a bike club next to us it was a quiet place to camp. Everyone was very friendly. Showers and restrooms were very clean all weekend. Only small garbage cans, no dumpsters but didn't seem overfull all weekend. Site one is alittle difficult to back into without driving on grass which signs say you are not supposed to. Overall it was a great park to stay at for riding the trails and close to home.

what a great place and the people are warm and inviting. only one issue with the camp site, the trees in the grove need major trimming. we had damage to our SUV when a large branch fell on our tailgate.

We love this campground. It was a little nerve wracking on our arrival with the ongoing Canoe Days Run and we had the site #31 along the trail. It took a bit of cajoling, but people did move allow us to park our camper. Things were not too bad with a few kids in and out of the site and on the steps of the camper, etc. but once the race ended everything cleared up and our picnic table was returned to our site like nothing had ever happened. We look forward to the addition of the full service hookups that are being worked on. The ability to reserve ahead of time has been a game changer! Very relaxing a a result. Thank you!
