Thanks Marlys we love our hidden gem, it's a joy to see it being enjoyed by so many! Our camp hosts, Gary and Michelle, are pretty terrific.

Shawndra Henderson

First time there & we really enjoyed it. The price is great too. Lots of stuff for people to do.

Don Parry

Always a fun time at Wilder.

Campground Response

Thanks Don, providing a place for families to have fun is what we aim for.

Rhonda Jones

Very enjoyable trip and will definitely return! Brought our granddaughter and we had fun on the playgrounds, the trails and miniature golf. She was sad to leave. Grounds are very well cared for.

Campground Response

Rhonda, It makes us happy that you and your granddaughter had a fun trip. Families are what the park is designed for. The team puts their heart into taking care of the park and grounds. Thanks for noticing. We look forward to having you join us again.

C A Gilchrist

Very nice park. Facilities average but price especially for full hook up sites makes up fir it.

Campground Response

We are happy you were able to enjoy our park and hope you can come back again.

John Behne

Very nice campground Camp hosts were friendly and helpful

Campground Response

John, Thanks so much for staying at Wilder Park. Gary and Michelle love what they are doing and enjoy being camp hosts and ensuring everything is at its best when you visit—looking forward to seeing you again.

Sheila Davis

With short notice, they had a spot with full hook-ups for us. The hosts are welcoming and attentive to their guests. The sites are clean and large. We will be staying there again!

Campground Response

Sheila, Thanks for staying with us. We take pride in the campgrounds and treat it as if it's our home, we were so happy you enjoyed it and will be back.

Gary Lawrence

A really great park to camp in. Very clean and lots of space around the campsites. The only negative is you might need an electrical and/or water hose extension. Depending on your site your utilities may be on the wrong side of your camper. Would definitely camp here again. Great bike trail around the park and running on the north edge of the campground.

Campground Response

Thank you very much for visiting Wilder Park. Gary and Michelle do a great job cleaning around the sites and dedicate time toward ensuring your stay is enjoyable. We have a few extra 50 and 30 Amp extension cords; we will try to get a few more for those sites needing extra footage. Please come and camp with us again.

Nasser Ali

Campground Response

Thank you very much for staying in one of our cabins. Please come and visit us again soon.

Jackie Duffy

We are new to our travel trailer. Wilder park host Doug, was with us until we were set perfectly in our spot. A perfect start to a perfect stay.

Campground Response

We have 3 hosts @ Wilder Park, Gary, Michelle and Chuck. Not sure which one you worked with. Glad you had a good experience and please come and visit us again.

Angie Smith

We try to come at least once per year & have for many years until COVID hit. It's always exciting to see what's new! Unfortunately, we were not able to see Dr. North this trip as he is the reason we started coming! Dr. North was our dentist for 4 generations so he is like family! Our son & him had many wonderful scouting visits! Wilder Park is special to our heart! Keep up the great work everyone!!!

Campground Response

Thank you very much for the note. We are sorry that you did not see Doc. He is always very busy and full of energy. Doc is a amazing individual. Scouting is a continued activity at Wilder Park. We hope to see you very soon.

Michael Smith

Very nice camp ground with great amenities! Could use significant improvements to the putting greens.

Campground Response

Hi Michael, Thanks for staying with us. Hope to see you soon.

Dixie Franck

Susan Needham

Spent a fantastic week at Wilder Park during the county fair. Campground was full but very quite. Only negative was dust control was put on the entrance road but not on the drive in the campground. It was so dry that even the golf carts created dust.

Campground Response

Thanks for the laudatory remarks, we try to ensure all campers are set up and fully functional within a few minutes of arrival so that you can enjoy camping experience. Park Board members will be notified of the dust control request. If there is anything else we can do in the future, please do not hesitate to call or email. thank you

Chuck went out of his way to be helpful. Sites 16 & 17 are confusing, and to small. Thankfully we were with Site 15 and were 1/2 on their site. The person parking is 17 used both 16 & 17. I would suggest making sites 16 & 17 one site.

Campground Response

Thanks for the shout out to Chuck, we will relay the message. The Park Board will be notified of that site. We will follow up with an answer. if there is anything we can do to assist you in the future please feel free to contact us. thank you

Lynn Christensen

We enjoy Wilder Park Campground. We have been camping here for 3 years. Alot of things to do for children. It is kept up nicely, and you don't feel as crowded as you sometimes do at other campgrounds.

Campground Response

We are super excited to read your review. Knowing that we have campers attending year after year means that we as a collective group of volunteers are doing things right. We continually think about how the kids feel. We have a ton of volunteers on weekdays volunteer for area beautification, tree trimming, tree removable, etc. A good shout out to our volunteers and superb campers like yourself, its folks like you that make us smile. if there is anything we can do to make your stay better please let us know thanks

Don’t leave your camper on site for half hour extra. You will be charged an extra day.

Campground Response

So what site were you in and did you actually pay for another day? Did you inform the camp host that you were leaving late? Check out time is 3pm is quite generous. But we do have a 3pm check in time also

Tracy Lalk

Campground Response

Tracy, Thank you for commenting. We strive to do our best. Please come back and see us again.
