You can also fish for rainbow trout and brook at the 14 acres that makeup Hopewell Lake. Picnicking is another popular activity, and it's even better at dusk when you can enjoy beautiful New Mexico sunsets and star gazing. It's the perfect spot for your next quiet, nature getaway. 

The Raton Pass Camp and Cafe is a campground located north of Raton just off I-25 at the top of Raton Pass, New Mexico. Soak in the panoramic views of the Savage Canyon, home to gambel oak, pinion and ponderosa pine, and while you're sitting outside keep your eyes open for the wildlife that calls Raton Pass home. There are bears, mule deer, elk, wild turkeys and scores of beautiful hummingbirds. Our sites are packed level gravel with scenic large back-ins, pull thrus, extra long pull thrus, and budget friendly small back-ins that support 30/50 amp sites. Our clean manicured property will keep you coming back year after year.   Nestled in Westcliffe, Colorado, Wet Mountain RV Park and Cabins offers 22 pull-through sites, 5 Non-RV sleeping options and a place to fill, dump, and or flush your recreational vehicle. We are big rig friendly! And each site is complete with water, sewer, electric (20,30,50 amp), a picnic table, tree, and up graded free WiFi. We also offer non RV stay options through AirBnB. We have 3 minimalist sleeper cabins, for the destination traveler each with a full bed, small fridge and microwave. In addition, for those looking to stay multiple days, we have a two apartment options: a studio apartment with a queen bed and kitchenette as well as a converted garage apartment with a pull out, queen bed, kitchen and attached bathroom. WMRV is just off of Main Street, so the location offers easy walking to downtown shops and restaurants. If you’re looking for an adventure, it’s a close drive to hiking, fishing, and ATV/4WD areas. Ponil Campground is located in northern New Mexico at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. We feature full 30/50 amp electric hookup sites along with tent sites for those seeking something a little more different. Visitors have access to bath houses and laundry facilities. Given our convenient location, we are only a few hours drive to iconic New Mexico spots like Taos, Santa Fe, Angel Fire, Eagles Nest and Red River. Take day trips from the campground to visit casinos, do some shopping and enjoy local fine dining, while also taking in the exquisite desert vistas on your drive. In the area surrounding the campsite, you can enjoy art galleries, local foods and a grocery store for your convenience. Hunting, fishing, back packing, 4 wheeling, horse back riding and golfing are some of the things you can do in this part of New Mexico! Whether its for a day or two, we hope to see you soon!

Tiny Homes, RV sites, Camper trailers, or Renovated Bus rental spaces are available with breathtaking mountain views in all directions with wide-open spaces. Off the grid (Boon Docking) which means no sewer or electric hookups, solar or generator will be needed. There may be an opportunity at the present time to have access to electricity for one and only one site.  There is water available. Tiny Home or RV living site offers a fire pit. There is a possibility of partial work trade for rent opportunity, if you have Handyman/Carpentry skills and experience, please let us know. This is a great place with biking and hiking trails nearby. Keep your RV/Camper trailer here for weekend getaways or live here full-time. This is a very beautiful mountain rural area, many of our neighbors have livestock, and we have a few potbelly pigs. It is very peaceful and the sky is full of stars without the city lights.  Located about 3 1/2 hours SW of Denver.

Taos RV park is under new ownership and has been completely renovated from top to bottom.Taos RV is a perfect place to enjoy everything Taos has to offer , we are conveniently located just minutes from Taos Plaza and Taos Ski Valley. We have 28 full hook ups, along with showers, bathrooms and high speed internet for our guests to use.  

Monarch Spur RV Park and Campground is located in the Heart of the Rockies, at 8,620 feet above sea level. Nestled in a small valley, the park has a trout stream running right through it, and is surrounded by thousands of acres of the San Isabel National Forest.
