This was an outstanding RV Resort until the new owners bought it a few years back and they started firing employees and raising the rent . The new manager has no idea how to manage the park and the employees. They are having a hard time getting guests to stay especially winter Texans. We will never go back to this pathetic place.

WARNING: Do not trust Majestic Oaks management. We booked a 5 months stay starting in November 2023. We booked in January 2022 and left $200 deposit. In February, they increased the rate 50% and incorporated $130 /mo. Into the rate for electric. Winter electric in our 30A MH only runs an average of $35/mo for us. Net increase was $210/mo. We advised them same day that we can’t afford that increase and to please refund our deposit. Despite us giving them 8 months notice to sell the site at the greatly increased rate, they’ve repeatedly refused to refund our $200. These folks are the worse sort of pirates.

I would not recommend This RV resort at all. We booked a spot in Aug. of 22 and left a deposit for April of 23. Then one month before (March) They emailed us and said that the rent has gone up over a $100.00 a month. So unfortunately, we had to cancel, and they would not refund our deposit. Very shady business practice. We will never even think about staying in this park or any of the others that the corporation owners have. I am reporting to better business bureau.

We had been at the Majestic Oaks for 4 years and enjoyed this park until the past two years. 1st. management has changed numerous times and the communication on the websites does not tell all the amenities that were once included are no longer available. No cable, internet is terrible, pool is closed more times than it opened due to unsupervised minors damaging pool property and increase in rate. The only person that makes an honest effort to repair everything is "Mr. Ron" he is a jewel. Before you consider renting a space at this RV park ask before you commit staying there as it was a costly venture for us in lost deposits and outrageous rental space increases. The management staff could care less.

I was quoted $495.00 for 2019 travel trailer per mo. basic space. Kinda high for the country, don't you think?

We stayed here 5 months over winter this last year. Love this park and the people in it. It is very well maintained and there is a lot to do. We will return for the next two winters at least.

I have been at Majestic Oak for 4 months. I have loved every minute here. Management is not only kind but they are accommodating to your requests. It's a quiet Campground with activities if you want and Solace if you don't. Heated saltwater pool and hot tub. I would give this 10 Stars if I could.

Yesterday morning I was in the managers office dealing with an issue of my own when a very well-dressed elderly woman entered. She seemed distraught and I had no problem conceding her interruption between myself and the general manager. Her first question was if the general manager could please do something about the standing water in the holes surrounding her camper. The GM quickly replied that she would just have to wait until the water soaked into the ground. The lady explained the mosquitoes had become so bad that her and her husband could hardly come outside, I completely understood, we also have holes, 8"- 10" tall grass (picture included) and mosquito swarms as well. The GM replied that they were short-handed and would get to it when they could. The lady then ask about something that they could put in the standing water to kill the mosquitoes. The GM's answer, "no, we don't have anything like that." The lady replied that Kiefer (manager) had told her that they had some tablets or something that they could use to keep the mosquitoes down. GM's answer was something along the lines of "oh, well, maybe, I'll see." At this point the GM seemed to be getting miffed at this lady that looked like she could be one of our grandmothers going to a formal tea or Church. Now the lady asked if she and her husband (late 60's/early 70's) were to get a shovel and some buckets could they have some of the sand in a pile to fill the holes themselves. I honestly do not remember the GM's response to this because I was so appalled that it was not anything along the lines of "I will come and take care of that for you right now", "if my guys are too busy my husband and I take a few minutes off of infraction patrol and bring sand to fill the holes." Nope, nothing of the sort. I could physically see the ladies shoulders slump as she gave-up and went out the door. Had we been staying one more day I would have bought a shovel and wheelbarrow and done it myself. It is very unfortunate that such a really, really nice place can be destroyed by both the actions and inaction's of one person. The remainder of the staff were great, I feel sorry for them and the guest that are not part of the small group that reports directly to the GM. We were planning on staying through Spring, we left yesterday after one month. I wish the owners would do an "under-cover boss", or contact some of the people who are no longer staying at Majestic Oaks because it could easily be the BEST place by far.

This RV resort is the cleanest and nicest park in Rockport and we have tried them all just to find this one. The prices are a little higher for long term than the rest but it is well worth the extra dollars.
