Made reservations for April 8th through the 11th, 2019. The pros are that the sites by the river are big with sewer and water. We didn’t stay up top, just down by the river. It was quiet because it was the off season. The cons, no WiFi and we needed it to do some work. We ask the person in the store several times, but she said just type in the information on the slip......didn’t help! I went to the bath house to shower because our RV bathroom water is leaking and we have to wait to get it fixed. The showers had no warm water. We reported it but to no avail. I understand this is the start of the camping season but this campground along with others we stayed in the last five weeks advertise amenities that they either don’t have at all or they aren’t up and running. They don’t mind taking your money and then shrugging you off when you ask about certain amenities. The other con was that there was a huge field by the campground and they were burning it off, it smelled horrible. There also is no way to get down to the river the banks are steep and junky. We did enjoy biking into town. I wouldn’t stay here unless things were up and running 100%.

This campground has full hookups, but no cable or wifi. In fact, Verizon had difficulty pulling here. They have both pull thru and back in sites. We were in a semi shaded site. The ones directly on the river have very little shade. We were very much on top the other campers/ cabins. The site we had was very level which is about all I can say for it. The site was grass/ dead grass. Road was gravel which made it very dusty. I was very disappointed in this campground. We had a reservation for the weekend but left after one night. Our view was of a neighborhood. The putt putt course was over grown with weeds. They advertised an Olympic sized pool but I would venture to say it was slightly larger than a backyard pool. Advertised activity of tractor or train ride was literally a home tractor with metal oil can shells strung together with wheels attached. I would never let my child on that. Like I said, I was very disappointed. We were looking for nice place to go within an hour of our house and we had heard good things about this place. I'm not sure if it has gone down hill or what but I certainly wouldn't make this my go to spot. I did not check out the facilities but frankly I didn't see any. Fishing pond had a lot of lily pad or algae on top so not easy to fish. Fire pits were rock rings that were actually too full of unburned garbage, you couldn't have a fire without digging it out. Seasonal renters had signs selling Tupperware etc. There was a guy who came thru selling farm veggies, that was nice. It is pet friendly. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
