The campground was nice. Campsite that we had was very spacious. I would suggest planting a couple trees near the top campground. Lots and lots of bees. We could not stay any longer on Sunday because of all of the bees/ wasps

We were very pleased with the campsite, facilities and services. I should have asked if they had recycling cans. All else was good and appreciated the boat launch right there on the site.

Lakeshore RV Park is a hidden gem. Very clean and neat. Mostly seasonal campers but a handful of day sites by the lake. Very nice. Don't miss the Lakewood Supper Club down the road. Also, Lingonberry Coffee shop is a must stop.

Map was terribly misleading. Pool deck was gross, slimy from not cleaning up the cotton. The camping spots we were put in were so tight we couldn't even use the fire pit. Not to mention the two women who work there, one being the owner screamed at me across the campsite area to clean up after my dog when she peed. Definitely not pet friendly. You would think with the 3 pages of rules the campground would be amazingly clean, Definitely not the case. Landing and dock area was also disgusting. Oh, but if you want an overpriced cabin in a parking lot that looks out over the busy highway, this is your place!

Campground Response

Ashley we are sorry your stay was not pleasant let me address your concerns. I am sorry that you can not read a map we, had recently updated the park and added 4 sites, the new"Small sites"are just under 4,800 square feet. the "Overpriced cabin" That is fully furnished is placed on a hill overlooking the campground and has a 14' by 14' screened gazebo with a fan is priced at 120.00 per night you will not find a better value anywhere around the area.Yes the cottonwood trees were blooming when you were here it sometimes is so thick it looks like it is snowing. The deck is cleaned daily or when it becomes a safety concern,Sorry we must have missed the part where you came into the attached Office and voiced your concern in that matter. As far as the Tight campsite you were on,the site is just over 2300 square feet the legal size for our county is 2000 square feet. The REAL REASON you were upset is because your group had all the sites except 2 and we would not move a camper that had a spot reserved that was in between one site, sorry we do not change customers site without their consent..BUT I did not hear any complaint about the people in your group that had the whole tent aere for one tent that is over 8300 square feet with a roofed shelter that is under a canopy of trees.Yes there were weeds on the boat landing, with the flooding this spring the lake had a lot of runoff from fields along with a lot of fertilizer, the weeds were cleaned up daily or when the washed up on the shore.the REAL REASON you were upset the whole stay is because as soon as you came you wanted to tie up your large dogs under a tree not next to your site and not have to watch them or take care of them, one of my employees had to ask you to PLEASE put your dogs on your site... apparently you did not READ the 3 pages of rules.. And the second time my wife told you nicely to PLEASE pick up your dog poop, when your dogs were just tied up in the tent aera you were somehow offended if you thought she was SCREAMING at you you have never been screamed at...Just for your information I had to pick up your dog's poop after you left there were multiple piles.Dog owners like you are the reason campgrounds are going to no dogs..To sum it up I am sorry you and your group did not have a great time and will not be coming back or ALLOWED back.I wonder if the other people in your group felt the same way.. we had no other complaints except you.. Steve Lakeshore..

We had a 3 night stay at this campground? Absolutely loved it. Pool was great, grounds were well kept and the public bathroom/showers were the cleanest I've ever seen. The staff and owners were the most Friendliest people, going above and beyond are expectations. We will be going again soon🙂

We got one of the last spots, which had just been created so it wasn't quite level. However, the park manager(s) had extra boards for us and delivered them happily...as well as a fly swatter. They stopped to chat if they had time during their rounds or at least waved. Great experience and even better staff. Thanks Jackie and Gary(?).

I/we really enjoyed the camp ground the bugs were pretty heavy But I guess being on a lake that can be expected. The staff at the park are very friendly people as well as other guests. I highly recommend this spot

Best place EVER! So accommodating in every way. Steve (the owner) set my 5th wheel up, aired a flat tire for me , fixed my water situation and helped me close it up at the end of the wkend!! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!❤

Campground is really clean including the bathrooms. Loved the outdoor hot tub! Hosts/owners are super nice. Would love to see a paved boat launch to making launching easier. Beware of the steep hill going in and out of campground with an RV. There’s a less steep way between the signs but you have to look for it. A fish cleaning house would be great to see in the future, too! Overall, fun for the whole family and would come back annually.

We had a great time. We stayed in the lake cabin. It's smaller, but worked for the 4 of us. My kids loved the pool and hot tub. They brought bikes too ride around also. Pretty relaxing resort. Fishing was good too!
