Hatch RV Park

We stayed for a week. The “grass” was long when we arrived. They said it would be mowed Wednesday. We left Friday and it still was not mowed. Yes we asked about it twice. They say what you want to hear and then do not follow through! The grass or weeds were about 2’ tall and many thorn weeds mixed into the area. I wondered why I didn’t see people outside. Now I know the reason: so many mosquitos! I have lived in Louisiana for 5 years and only had 1 bite. At Hatch RV Park, I got 4 bites in one day! Mosquitos are even out during the day and our dogs were big up as well. There are many ant piles too right outside our RV. The internet is poor and the phone service is poor in the area. Roads are awful. Skip this place!

I have stayed here just recently and i have a lot to complain about first and foremost THERE STAFF IS VERY VERY RUDE AND THEY LIE TO you about there rates !!!!! and i agree with everyone else they watch you like a hawk especially since we are MEXICANS i think they pick o use on a daily basis literally I felt like we were targeted , now the atmosphere was nice neighbors we had were very pleasant there was somewhat clean showers ahhh never used just once or twice !!!! but if i had a choice and might of read some of there reviews I could of just found another park that we would not be targeted I AM SOORY I WOULD NEVER EVER STAY THERE AGAIN I FEEL WE WERE DISCRMINATED ON AND THATS WHY ONE FAMILY MEMBER WE HAD LIVED THERE FOR A VERY LONG TIME DONT KNOW IF STAFF WAS THE SAME BUT THE ARE RUDE AS HELL SERIOUSLY !!!!! OH AND IF YOU HAVE DOGS PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU GET POLICY AND PROCEDURES ON YOU DOES AND DONTS ON THAT WE ALWAYS CLEANED UP AFTER OURS BUT LATE AT NIGHT WE SAW A DOG WONDERING AROUND SEEMED HE LIKE OUR CAMPSITE AND DID HIS BUSINESS THERE AND GUESS WHAT WE GOT FINED FOR SOMEONE ELSE DOGS BUSINESS WHEN WE CLEARLY HADE OUR EQUIPMENT OUT SO THEY CAN SEE WE PICKED IT UP AND STILL WE GOT IN TROUBLE I WILL POST THIS ALL ON FACEBOOK SO EVERYONE CAN SEE I AM SORRY BUT THEY HAVE MESSED WITH THE WRONG FAMILY !!!!!! I WILL NOT GIVE THEM A RATING THEY SUCK OH AND ROADS TO THE PERSON THAT OUT ON PREVIOUS REVIEW ROADS STILL SUCK BALLS AS WELL !!!!!!

Terrible roads, grounds aren't well kept, pool is dirty. Not a place I would let my kids play. we left a few minutes after arrival from Kentucky. They don't give you a refund if you're unhappy with the accommodations, even though they are not what they appear to be online

This park ripped us off, stayed 2 weeks only after paying for a month, would not refund anything. Total rip off.

We stayed here for a month. It was TERRIBLE. They boast a ton of amenities, yet none work. Laundry was broken. Showers were broken. Hot tub broken. WiFi didn't work. Told us to call the 800 number. Did that. Yet still didn't work and was encouraged to RENT an adapter for a $200 and $35 a month. No thanks. Our sewage pipes backed up into our RV TWICE since we moved here. Not to mention it's in a terrible location with gun shots fired close by nearly nightly. This place sucks balls.

We've been staying here for several months and have watched the park go downhill quickly. The roads are deteriorating, the park amenities are now only the swimming pool, (no laundry, public bath, public shower, workout room or clubhouse.) The utilities are good and the electrical power is good and consistently above 112v. The staff is nice but turnover is huge. When we arrived there were very few vacancies, now approx. 1/4 of the park is empty. 2 street lights are all that's left to light the park and it's quite dark because of this. Other parks are cheaper and better but don't have the shade trees some of these sites have. I agree with the other poster, I have no idea how this place currently is ranked as a 8.5 by Good Sam.

This will be a short review. I pulled into this park; I was there just for one night & I never used any of their rest rooms or showers etc. etc. The only thing I can say the front desk staff was VERY rude- when I got to my site my shore power didn't work so I called the office & I was told when they get a chance they would fix it then I tried to get on their WIFI & it didn't work so I called the office again & they told me a tech. would come to adjust the tower & the tech never showed up. This is a quaint park and really worth staying here. The staff was amazing and super helpful with our crazy family. They had a plethora of sites to choose from that were large with enough room for my big rig. The facilities were nicely kept up with and so was everything else in the park. I really liked the pool and the other activities they had. There was plenty for the whole family to have fun. The price was fair for everything they provided. Overall we had a very nice stay and got a lot for our money. I know if we are in the area again we will be staying here. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group

What a darling trip my family had here. The staff people were so pleasant and welcoming it really made the beginning of our stay very special. The whole park was nicely maintained. The utilities were always spotless and there was so much beautiful. The price was reasonable for everything they offered, personally I thought it was a little high but then I’m a penny pincher and want the most for as little as I can spend.
