The Country Place RV Park is located in the beautiful town of Conroe and is a great spot for an authentic southern adventure. Onsite, campers can look forward to a pristine natural terrain, excellent for photography, scenic and sunset viewing and hiking. Historic downtown Conroe is a great place for exploring and soaking in local art, the Sam Houston National Forest is great for scenic viewing and the Southern Star Brewing Company are camper favorites. Campers can also look forward to a number of nearby attractions such as the W G Jones State Forest which is popular for its hiking trails and 2 small lakes for fishing, boating, canoeing and kayaking. The 7 Acre Wood petting zoo and mini-golf area is also excellent for group fun, and Lake Conroe Park and Recreation Area are both perfect for nature walking, fishing and swimming. The park is also a short drive from Houston, and is in an ideal spot for a day trip to this bustling Texas metropolis. In Houston, travelers can look forward to an urban adventure, with plenty of great restaurants, entertainment, art galleries, museums and historic sites to enjoy. Amenities at the park include: fully-outfitted cabin rentals, tent sites, WIFI, pull thrus, full hookups and 30/50 amp sites. Hope to see you soon!

The owners and staff were very friendly. Escorted to my site and explained how all the amenities worked. My friend stayed in one of the cabins and it was very nice. I felt sorry for the owners and staff a freak winter storm blew in and temperature dropped to 15 degrees and caused havoc. They worked as hard as anyone could making repairs and getting things back to working status. Very beautiful and peaceful place.

Pictures are misleading .A lot of long term rv’s , manager’s spouse was rude , one of the spots wasn’t big enough for the rv. Our friends had park in the parking lot until the next morning that is we informed the manager that we were not going to stay the rest of the weekend. That is when she said we would not get a refund. This is more of trailer park than a camp site.
Campground Response

Gary we are sorry you were not happy. You made a reservation the day before Thanksgiving and expected my premium sites along the ponds. I let you know the spots available and we could not provide side by side sites. You arrived on time and were escorted to your site. You were happy at that time. The second arrival was approved to park in the back section in a 81' long pull thru. He arrived very late at 10pm and very frustrated with traffic. He did not want to park in that site and said it was too small. Two days prior a 43' Motor Home was parking there and had no problems. I provided your friend accommodations and turned away several regular customers for the holidays. Yes, there are no refunds. This is an RV Park with only 20 percent long time residence. I recommend you call ahead for the holidays since we stay 98 percent full. The pictures posted on the website are the pictures I took in September 2017. The park is very beautiful and clean.

Very clean. Very well run and friendly park. Gated. Plenty of amenities like workout center, laundry, propane fill. Ponds for fishing. Owners are proud of their park and it shows.

Awesome place!!! Beautiful campground all around. The sites are beautifully landscaped. Great dog park! Great areas to walk. We enjoyed our time there and will return in the near future.

This park is awesome! Before you come here you should check out the layout and see how everything is placed. The employees are very cheerful and helpful. The amenities and utilities are also very nice. I really enjoyed the white picket fences that divided the roads from everything in the park. It helped protect our nature. This park in my opinion emphasizes on what camping is supposed to be about. The big wide open country, a plethora of trees, and many great things to do and see all at a fantastic price. Parking and Vehicles

- Speed Limit throughout the park is 5 mph. - Connection and disconnection of towed vehicles MUST be done by the Office area. - Limit of one RV and a maximum of two car/truck vehicles per site - All visitors must register with the office and obtain a parking pass which should be visible at all times. - No utility trailers are allowed in the park except for loading or unloading. All must park in the designated area. - NO PARKING IN THE STREETS, GRASS OR LANDSCAPED AREAS AT ANY TIME. - Extra parking is available at the front office.

Check In/Out Time

- Check-In Time is 1:00 PM – Check-Out Time is 12:00 PM - Quiet Time: 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. Disruptive noise, abusive language or conduct will not be permitted at any time.

General Policies

- Rental Office hours are 10 am to 6 pm daily. Closed on Sunday. Closed Easter, Thanksgiving, & Christmas - The rates are based on two people. Additional people will need to pay $5 for using the facility and overnight guest. All unregistered visitors must leave the park by 10 pm - All Common buildings and common areas are smoke-free - Electrical use will be charged on monthly rentals. Reading will be done the day before due date and placed on your door. There is a $25 late fee after 3 days and $5 each day thereafter. - Management reserves the right to refuse service or enforce the removal of any guest for any reason.

Cleanliness And Repairs

- All sites must be kept neat and tidy. Trash/garbage must be placed in waste receptacles behind the maintence building. If the park is required to clean your site, there will be a charge of $75.00. - A short cut across any other RV site is prohibited. - Anyone who willfully or negligently defaces, damages or destroys property/ equipment of the Resort shall be liable for full-replacement value. - No clotheslines allowed. Hanging Laundry outside is prohibited. - O-Ring, donut or screw-in fittings for sewer connections must be used. - If your sewage spills onto the ground, you will be charged a cleanup service fee of at least $75 and have no more than 24 hours to correct the problem. After 24 hours, the park will correct the problem and bill you, including labor charges. - A washing fee is to be paid prior to EACH washing of your rig on site. - If your vehicle or RV requires service or mechanical repairs, please inquire at the Rental Office before contacting any service. Vehicle maintenance and repairs are prohibited on the property. - Please do not flush baby wipes, adult wipes, Q-tips or hygiene products down any toilet. This is an expensive cleanup. - Country Place is not held liable for personal injuries or property damage caused or permitted by guests and visitors. This does not waive “Landlord’s duty to care” to prevent personal injury of property damage where the duty is imposed by law. - All RV’s must use their holding tanks. Do not have your drain open into the sewer lines continuously. This will cause major problems to your RV and our system.

Pets

- Pets must be on a leash and under control of the owner at all times. - You MUST promptly pick up after your pet. - Pets may never be left unattended outside or create a noise disturbance. - No pets allowed in the ponds, common buildings or pool areas with the exception of certified “seeing eye” or personal assistance dogs. - No Pit Bulls, Dobermans, Rottweiler’s, Chows and /or Wolf hybrids are allowed in the Park at any time.
