Will absolutely stay here again. I loved how much privacy we had and all the nature! My kids loved being able to fish and ride their bikes.

We took off half day non paid, paid for the weekend to stay with our RV, paid for gas, time, all based on a tour for Sat at 10:00 am. We arrived Friday, and our site had no table and full of ants. We showed up for our 10:00 am tour and the lady said she was new and couldn't give us any info on any properties and was by herself so could not leave. She said they don't have tours on Sat. So we know about the same as we got there, nothing. We did enjoy the wooded lots, but have no idea the cost or how the resort even works.

First off the roads are worse than you would imagine driving on the surface of the moon. Water is off atleast 2 weeks of the month due to busted pipes. The pools are full of algae and the splash pad is always messed up for the kiddos. And the people there are such snake's

Site 13’s hookups function well. Clear satellite antenna from site. Lots of ant beds Suggest removing broken wooden trash bin and ensuring sites cleaned of trash left behind from prior campers.

No Map left at the front gate. Luckily I got ahold of someone before they closed at the office and she sent me a pin drop via text on how to find the lots. If you follow google or apple maps, you'll go down some very sketchy dirt roads with HUGE potholes. They need a better check-in process, signage, etc. We stay on the North side, spots around N0# POA area... Pads were level, no fire pits, hookups worked fine on our spot, but the spot next to ours was not working. (N02 POA...) N01 is relatively shaded and has a picnic table. We used that spot since it was available online and we checked in fairly late... figured the likely hood of someone booking it and being able to find it last minute was slim to none. Don't bother washing your rig or your tow vehicle before you go, when you come out they'll both be covered in dirt. The resort picture are NOT in line with reality of the property. ... All that said, it was pretty down by the water.

We love staying at The Preserve! Gave 4 stars because Cedar Bayou pool was green. No one was swimming in it. Everyone was at Wilderness Pool. Lincoln Adult pool was also closed for repairs. Bathrooms at Lincoln need maintenance as well. If you want to play putt-putt golf, you now have to drive to front gate to get the clubs and balls...then return them. They used to be located at the Davis Pavillion but are now moved.

My family and I enjoyed the river beach. The playground is nice. And the river bottom trees are beautiful with a nice touch of moss hanging from them.

The roads are in such disrepair that it can ruin your car when driving down them. There has not been any improvements made to the Preserve in years other rebuilding some of the campsites destroyed by flooding. Now our dues have been increased along with a Special Assessment

We stayed at The Preserve 5 nights. We enjoyed the soundings, trees and lakes but, the road was terrible big pot holes in the road. It had not been maintained for a long time. The mapping of the area was not clear. We would not stay there again.

The preserve was once a great idea. They have a lot of amenities. The RV sites have full hook ups and ours was beside a lake. The roads are in poor shape and upkeep is lacking.

I wanted to give a 5 because Erica is the most helpful out of anyone who is there. We used to have trash cans, 3rd this summer I do believe. No paper tower in the women's restroom. Something has to done about all those potholes.

We stayed in the wilderness #13 and whoever installed the 30 amp it's upside down. So no one was in # 12 we had a long cord + our 50 amp adapter. I have only wonderful things to say about Erica. That young lady works her tail off. We always have a great time as my brother and wife joins us. Thank you Erica, you ROCK 🎸!

Really enjoyed our time there the only complaints is the septic system where we were at was stopped up and we reported it but no one came to fix the problem so we had to use the facilities there the whole time but other than that we enjoyed our time

Beautiful place. Wildlife everywhere. Camp site was great. Only complaint is the public bathrooms weren't as clean and some of the public areas like parks and dog park wasnt mowed but given weather that is understandable. We loved it otherwise and look forward to more stays.

Stayed at RV site CB11. I would stay at their Wilderness Park RV section next time because I like to fish and you can walk to the pond in the Wilderness Park section. We had to drive to get to fishing areas from where we were camped. Very peaceful beautiful scenery. Due to our drought the Trinity River is way down and there is no water in their tributaries. But had a great relaxing time.

There was as some adult people whom threw Rocks in pools for there kids to dive for kids was pulling tiles off pool ..It was a Spanish family that did this ..I think Cameras need to be put up at the pools so they can see who is destroying there pools.. ..Sit outside every more drinking coffee watching Deer .. I miss being there and would stay all the time if I could..people are friendly and Very helpful.. It's Beautiful out there..hope to go back soon..
