We had no access to bathrooms or showers The location was nice and quiet There was a severe water leak coming up from under ground Seemed like it was still under construction The onsite manager was nice

This RV site is under construction and has several problems. The bathhouse is partially done: no shower but functional toilet. The site has a major main water leak which caused the pressure to be low. Since we only stayed for a short visit it was very convenient for us. Close to I-10. Easy on easy off. The owner is very nice and accommodating! He was very understanding and made sure our site was right.

I hate to say it but I give this place a ZERO. It was really terrible. NOTHING on this property is finished or as it said. WiFi was awful, bathroom, yes bathroom there is only one stall and one incomplete shower, water pressure was also terrible because there's a GIANT water leak flowing like a creek through the park road that clear affected water pressure, can't understand how there was no attempt what so ever to fix. The railings up to the club house are not finished and literally SUPER dangerous, I child could and would fall about 20 feet down since club house is up on stilts. The sewer connections did not have a cap so I had to use a cinder block to hold my sewer pipe in place so it would not run onto the ground. This place truly should be shut down, it's that bad, that dangerous, that incomplete. Oh and there are electrical wires running all over the ground, just lying on top and many electrical boxes on poles that are open with no cover and a kid could reach in and get electrocuted. It's sincerely that bad. DO NOT STAY THERE!!!

Campground Response

GFY Chad! You’re a liar and a terrible person. I may sue you for this.

I'm very sorry to write a bad review. My wife was so disappointed upon arriving to this rv resort. It was more like a run down trailer park. What you see on the internet is not what see upon arrival. You can tell it was a beautiful park in the past. We only stayed about 30 minutes before leaving. We paid through Roverpass therefore could not get a refund from the park owner.

We stayed at Camp David one night on a long road trip. They were very accommodating and friendly. I could tell they are doing lots of improvements and remodeling. This park is perfect for a quick overnight stay or a fun get away. There are kayaks and a laundry mat. We were also able to get Door Dash easily. That was great after a long day of travel! Camp David is clean, safe, and pet friendly!

Very nice owner but he's trying to fix the place up by himself; that's too big of a job for one person. The remodeling will be beautiful when done so now the only amenities are laundry, kayaks, and full hookup. We were only there for a few nights so it didn't make much difference to us. The sites are large but the camp is along a busy road so enough traffic noise is heard. Maybe we'll get back that direction again in a few years and the updates will be done.

Even though campground is currently under renovation, the staff was friendly and all amenities were well placed.

We had a good spot. Mr. David the owner/host was the most kind accommodating camp owner I have ever meet. We were close to everything we wanted to go to. Our 50 amp breaker was fluctuating he immediately went and got a new breaker came back and installed it. No there are no bath houses but you have an RV or a camper why do you need a bath house. Excellent place to stay.

We arrived and 2 hrs after setting up camp Lawn man started mowing slinging cut grass dust and rocks everywhere We had a clean camper and Tahoe but once he circles right up next to the vehicle and camper for 30 min needless to say was not clean anymore. So unprofessional to do this right after arriving on campsite I would not recommend a stay here to anyone during grass cutting season

Great place to stay just not in the 100 * heat no shade our ac wouldn't cool down our rv . Did use washers & drys very happy and it was air-conditioning in laundry room, over all quite and a beautiful place .The views from the back deck was amazing. We will definitely be going back to enjoy kayaking with out the heat as daughter and son inlaw live near .

False advertisement. I would never have made reservation if I had known there were no bathrooms or showers available. It is fine if you are just looking for an overpriced place to park. No one there to check us in and give us the wifi passcode or anything. Was assured on phone that there would be a working bathroom available. All doors were key locked the entire time. We did not arrive late.

The entrance was grand. I thought how beautiful this is going to be. Have a 38 ft 5th wheel. No contact / No movement office. Drove around grounds twice Had me going in a 20 ft spot with a tree , had 2 trucks and a boat trailer in the spot. Moved me. No power at the pedestal. Extension cords everywhere/ exposed wire nuts on connections laying on the ground.Water leak in the road behind our row. No bathhouse/ washer room. When they are done with storm repairs, it will be a nice park.

Too expensive, no amenities, no dumpster for trash, owner did not return call when messages were left with questions and narrow sites with poor water drainage. We really wanted to like Camp David, but it is far from being ready to be called a resort. The owner is a nice guy with big aspirations for the place, but it's nowhere near ready for the price charged.
