People don’t leash their dogs or pick up the dog crap. The restroom at the clubhouse was out of order. These two things were a big disappointment. Everything else was good.

We enjoyed the location and actually were able to pick our spot (under one of the few trees). We had read that the pier was equipped with lights for night fishing which is why we choose this location. Upon checking in we were informed all the solar lights and been stolen and the green lights are not working. Many locations are not within walking distance as mentioned in the advertisement. Campers were very friendly and courteous. The bait stand was well stocked for our needs… we didn’t catch anything but made memories.

Loved the location. It was quiet and jurist what I needed. If I had you complain, the restroom was dirty. Can’t wait to go back. Like the price. Thank you

Very Well kept park. Full timers are all neat and friendly. Easy access on foot to the local restaurants and massive public pier. Bait shop in front is well stocked and pier was in good shape, but missing the end. Manager was very professional and kind.

Management is friendly, however the grounds weren’t kept up very well. Dumpster overfilled and a couple vehicles had been sitting for a while (can tell they hadn’t be ran for a hot minute with the grass grown up around them). Dog poop everywhere- definitely had to watch where I stepped! Fishing pier available, however we were advised someone stole their lights so night fishing would require your own lights- no biggie but I rated 4 stars for the aesthetics and the dodging of dog poop, for sure!

Came to Rockport to do a job and ran across this little park. Snug as a bug in a rug and decently priced. Great location and the neighbors where cordial. The next door neighbors had a cool little schoolie with the best wooden front door I've seen on one. They probably thought it to be weird their were four grown men cramming into a 20 ft. RV but it was better than quartering in a sub for 5 yrs., trust me. Would definitely stay again. And the bait shop and pier where right there. Awesome. Thanks Beacon!

Campground Response

Thank you hope to see you again!

View from spot 2 was amazing! Restaurants and stores within walking/biking distance. Very friendly people. Was surprised to see we were charged for electric. Never saw that before. Some folks needed to do better cleaning up their spots...garbage, dog poo! Overall, with this spot we would return.

Thank you hope to see you again
