We have 4 RV Lots situated on the western side of our 3.5 acres in the heart of Fletcher.    It is owner-occupied and geared more toward older travelers (55 and older) that are looking for a more quiet place for RVing for weekly/monthly seasonal availability.     Each campsite is set up with a fire pit and a picnic table.  All lots are gravel back-in sites that do require a more experienced traveler for backing into the site and leveling the RV.  Recreational vehicles that are less that 38' are recommended.  We can accommodate slightly longer than thirty-eight’ with a very experienced driver for backing into the site.  If you have questions, please call us.    An application is required for renters which will include a tenant background screening.   The following rules were established to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and maintenance, with a “Good Neighbor Policy” in mind.  • No illegal drug use or illegal activity permitted • Alcohol consumption is allowed at your site only •  Please note “NO SMOKING” pertains to the entire park. No smoking or any tobacco products are permitted outside of the RV • All pets must be registered at the office. Maximum of 1 pet per site. Pet rules will be issued, and compliance is mandatory. Remember cats are pets too, and the rules apply to them. They are not to be let out to run loose. The following breeds are NOT allowed in the park: Doberman Pinschers, Pit Bulls, Pit Bull Mixes, and Rottweilers. • Pets must always be on a leash with the owner when outdoors. Pets cannot be tied outside and left unattended. • Each site is limited to one (1) RV and one (1) vehicle. If there is room on your site, you may park an additional vehicle if it does not stick out beyond your site area. • The RV must be well-maintained and in excellent overall condition. • Vehicles must be well maintained (no oil leaks) and operate safely. The speed limit in the park is 5 MPH (miles per hour). Inoperable or unlicensed vehicles are not permitted. Vehicles are to be parked only in the space intended. The common areas are not for parking. All vehicular noise is to be kept to a minimum. Please be mindful of your neighbors when warming your diesel engines — they can be very loud. Recreational use of motorized bikes, motorcycles, or ATVs within the park is not permitted. •  Guests must pick up after their pets. • We require the use of sewer gaskets/seals. Sewer hoses should be raised off the ground. We have septic tanks in the park so we require tanks to arrive empty. If you need a place to dump your grey or black water tank before arrival the closest station is located at Camping World of Asheville (2.8 miles from our park located at 2918 N Rugby Rd, Hendersonville, NC 28791) arrival with an empty tank then allows hookup to the park’s septic system. • Green Garbage Receptacles: Garbage cans can only contain sealed trash bags. Do not throw unbagged trash directly in the trash can. Not only does it attract bears, but the local town ordinance also requires all trash to be bagged. We do have black bears that roam in our area at times so do not leave food out and any garbage much be disposed of in secured trash bags and placed in the green garbage cans located at each lot. • Blue Recycling Receptacles: Recycling pickup is available- all items for recycling must be rinsed and placed in the designated blue Receptacles Emergency and Safety If you need to call 911, and time allows, please also notify us as well. Rutledge Lake RV Park is an RV park located at 125 Jillian Trail in Fletcher, North Carolina that features electric, water, sewer full 20/30/50 amp hookup sites for RV's less than ten years old. Visitors can enjoy an all night fishing experience in a private lake, free canoes and kayak use along with camp fire and picnic table access. Update may 1 2022 unfortunately this property has been sold and the new owners are working hard to carry on what we started and have made alot of improvements but they will not allow any campers out till next year.  we are looking into aquiring other property to start another park.        Due To COVID-19 and the clubhouse construction there will be no tent camping for the 2021 season and all rigs must be fully self-contained.  we are now conducting background checks And theres a 30 day waiting period if there any local court records found from the date of booking a site So we have plenty of time to process you. if your looking for a long term rv site we have a few really good options for you to come check out. Deep in the heart of Appalachia is one amazing farm with a very interesting history, where time seems to have stood still until we decided to acquire the property about 5 years ago and develop part of it into a really neat camping resort.  Fish trails campground is very excited to offer several more camping options for the 2020 season And is the perfect place for you to come explore. This area will be sure to meet and exceed all of your hiking, biking, or relaxation needs as we are located right in the middle of Recreational paradise, But yet the campground offers easy and convent access to Damascus Virginia And everything the Tri-Cities Bristol Tn and Boone NC areas have to offer, which are all just a 30 to 40 minute drive from here.  Fish Trails offers private access to over 200 yards of stocked trout fishing that could arguably be some of the best fishin east of the mighty  Mississippi! The main campground area has a base elevation of ~2250’ and offers very comfortable year-round weather.  Tennesse being on the sunny side of the Smokies and with next to no mosquitoes you will be sure to find yourself a very pleasant camping experience.  CAMPING Rates: starting at $30 daily .   Taxes and fees are not included. Or we can develop you dump stations at some sights if your interested in a long term site GROUP CAMPSITES   We offer 3 group sites, which will accommodate approximately 15 people each.  These sites may be reserved up to 12 months in advance And require a two night minimum.  Hike-in Sites We are now offering a few hike-in sites where you can even bring your own ATV or side-by-side to access these sites.  These sites are remote Leave No Trace pack in pack out style Tent camping sites, which are located about a 1/2 mile hike/utv style trail that rises up approximately 500’ feet in elevation Into peace and solitude situated high up above the main campground which consists of 32 acres of Pristine mountain land backing to the Cherokee National Forest. Lodging  The clubhouse Construction is nearing completion and should be available in Novemb   weekly to monthly rental now . It can be utilized  as a bunkhouse or as a hotel style studio suite.  It is located  next to the bathhouse and it has its own full private bathroom and kitchenette.  It can sleep 3 comfortably on cots or we can set up a queen sized inflatable raised bed and a cot.  Its nicely situated tucked hidden back in the woods just steps off the Laurel Creek and Trail,   $95.00 Per Night (2 Night Minimum, includes 3 guests)  Additional guests $10.00 per night, per guest  Additional $25.00 cleaning fee for pets.  $510.00 Per Week $800 monthly   Policies & Disclaimer Parks Campground Wi-Fi Disclaimer   The Park offers Wi-Fi for your enjoyment. The signal strength may vary depending on the demand, your location and your computer. Our Wi-Fi is not intended for heavy use such as downloading movies, or inappropriate content but can be used to stream video. Should you abuse the system, your access will be blocked. Wi-Fi signal outages may occur from time to time due to weather or other technical difficulties. Fish Trails campground cannot guarantee continuity of free Wi-Fi service at all times. There is no cell phone signal here so you will need to enable Wi-Fi calling on phones with a guest password which will be provided to  you  after your booking, most sites have high-speed internet available Fast enough to stream Netflix!   Firewood Policy We ask that ALL campfires be made with wood we offer or downed wood that you find inside the park, . Please do not bringing wood from outside the  Cherokee national forest zone  into our park because of the pests that threaten Tennessee.  See what you can do to help prevent the introduction and spread of invasive pests, visit www.protecttnforests.org. Guest access: From the moment you enter the camp and go across the massive bridge that gthat takes you over  over laurel creek you will begin to feel the beauty and power of this property, that lies along a section of an old rail road bed directly off Tn hwy 91 ~2 miles South of the Virginia tn border. The campground is located adjacent to the new Laurel Creek Trail which is a federally funded rail trail conversion project that cost over $350,000 so far and is a park like setting from the campground to the Virginia state line and is Destined to be extended directly into Damascus in the near future and will connect up with the famous Creeper trail! To access the trail from the 5th wheel head to the north end of the property, follow the gravel road up towards the bathhouse area you will see a trail that drops back down onto the old railroad Bed and then go about 50’ and your on the new trail. We are the only private property with direct access to this trail, if you go about 1/2 mile down the trail from here is a section of the legendary Boone Trail aka FS Butt Mountain trail which has been really improved upon recently and it goes all the way up to the Iron Range Trail which you can then hike directly into Damascus or all the way over to the infamous Backbone Rock even, this trail was The old Appalachian Trail Route before they made the new route the next Ridge west of here, but this area offers a much more peaceful hiking experience and is really amazing given the mild climate we get here with abundant wildlife  this place is awesome! Other things to note about hike-in sites:  There are two different areas that we offer hike-in sites here, as there are two massive ridges that rise up directly in back of the lower campground, the north ridge requires a very difficult hike with no gear delivery availabile yet and is only available upon special requests for now.  The South Ridges #11 campsite while you will feel totally remote offers views Of the valley below and of Highway 91, where you’ll be able to see and hear the motorcycles and logging trucks rumble through, which really makes for a spectacle.You May want to consider renting machines through a local outfit in Mountain city who can deliver For a very reasonable prices And ride the trails at Doe Mountain off road park one day too.   Leave No Trace sites-  Plan ahead and be prepare; Travel and camp on durable surfaces ; Dispose of waste properly; Leave what you find; Minimize campfire impact; Respect wildlife. Be curdious of other campers. Cutting, chopping or damage of any kind to trees and plants, large or small, is strictly forbidden. No removal of plants, trees or rocks. Digging is not allowed. Do not dismantle the rock fire rings. Do not pour out candle wax. Stay on marked trails. Pick up your trash and dispose of it  properly in The large trash receptacle in front of the garage which is put outside dailey . FINES FOR VIOLATIONS WILL BE IMPOSED.

Come join us with your tiny house on 10 acres of beautiful mountain views on the Cherokee National Forest. We are a year-round, full time living, community with a salt water pool, onsite laundry facility and a catch and release fish pond.
