Friendly people, nice facilities. I wish I would have known How close to the airport this campground was, there was a lot of noise.

Campground Response

Thank You. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. We hope you will come back again.

It's near stores but feels away. The rec center was cool had a ping ping table, pool table AND a piano (the piano needs a little love but I thought it was awesome they had one). Clean bathrooms. VERY friendly staff. The fire wood was great, big bundles, very dry and easy to start. The spots are a little tight and it's more of a pond than a lake. Overall pretty cute place.

Campground Response

Thank you for visiting Rutledge Lake RV Park. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you return in your future travels. Rutledge Lake RV Park

Our site was next to the dumpster and not what we were originally assigned. This resulted in additional traffic very close to us. The sites at this park are a bit too close for me personally. Check in was easy after hours. Quiet times appeared to be honored by all. We didn't interact with the office/ store staff much, but when we did they were polite though not necessarily warm. Not a bad location for exploring Asheville, but we will likely try for something a bit closer next time. Bath house showers are separate from toilet stalls in the same building. Iyou cannot lock the shower stall as it's open end is only a shower curtain. It was clean and decently warm. I imagine the lake is a very nice addition in warmer weather

Fantastic-well groomed- front desk were great- the person who showed us to our campsite was very helpful. However with all the positives about the campground, getting there sucked. Road construction everywhere. Delays and more delays. Give yourself some extra time

Campground Response

Thank You! We hope you will visit again soon.

Great location, easy to get to The Biltmore and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Shopping and restaurants nearby. The setting is really pretty, with the lake and covered bridge. Lots of fun activities in the park, pool, boating (free to use), fishing, arcade with a pool table and feeding the resident ducks. Sites are easily accessible and a good size, the laundry and bathroom facilities are really nice. We will definitely return some day. There’s much more to explore in Asheville.

Campground Response

Thank You! We are glad you enjoyed your stay and we hope you will return again soon.

What a wonderful place to set up camp. We were assigned a spot on the lake, which was beautiful. Had great neighbors and the staff was friendly. Pool and laundry were great. A little bummed that they no longer had a basketball hoop though. The price and location were good. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you. 😀

Campground Response

Thank you. We look forward to having you here again.

The park was very clean and the sites were descent size. The laundry had plenty of washers and rulers and was clean. The staff brings you to your site and makes sure you are good before the go. They were all very friendly. We would stay again!

I had site 68 which was awesome. It was tucked right next to the stream away from other campers. Easy to get in and out. I would have preferred if the hook up would allow the right side of the trailer to face the stream. Bathrooms were clean and the pool was nice. The park map was a little deceiving. There were a few good sites, but many were tight and in some of the areas it seemed more like a storage lot.

Campground Response

Thank you and we hope to see you again soon.

Nice park. Good location. We had a lakefront site and it was beautiful. Check-in was easy and they had someone guide us to our site. The hours for the rec room and activities are not great. Our kids are in the tween/early teen range and this was not a good fit. The park rules require that all children under 16 be accompanied by an adult anywhere in the park. I think someone with younger children would be fine, but our kids are used to a bit of independence, and so are we, to be honest. The pool is supposed to be heated, but it was very cold. We did not get a chance to use any of the boats because they closed the lake due to a storm that never materialized on Saturday. I think a couple without children or with much younger children would appreciate this park. It was not a good fit for us.

Campground Response

I'm sorry it wasn't the right fit for you. We hope you will visit us again in the future, however. Thank you.
