Emberglow is set to open March 1, 2020. We are located 15 miles from the Tryon International Equestrian Center and less than 10 miles from beautiful Lake Lure. We have 6 primitive tent sites, 1 group camp site that will hold up to 20 tents, 8 Rv sites that are 30 Amp water and electric hookups, 11 RV sites that are 50/30 Amp full hookups, 3 RV sites that are 30 Amp full hookups and 1 new 2019 Puma travel trailer that will sleep up to eight for rent.   Our outdoor resort amenities include: a resort style pool, bathhouse (restrooms and showers), dog park, free wifi, includes a campstore, dog friendly in all our RV and camping sites, kid friendly, 30 Amp full hookup, 30/50 Amp full hookup, and some 30 Amp sites that just include water and electric (WE), community propane grill, and shaded or wooded site options.   Emberglow also has many glamping options to choose from, including: yurts, treehouses, primitive treehouses, a geodesic dome, pods, a tiny house and vintage trailers.

Nestled in the foothills of the NC Mountains, Roaring River Vineyards is reminiscent of a French riverside hillside vineyard. The vineyard is named after the Roaring River which borders the vineyard property for a mile and a half and offers great vistas from all the buildings situated on its riverbank. We are a full-service mountain resort with the Chez Josephine Restaurant, Wine & Beer Tasting Room, vacation rentals, event venues, vineyards, truffle field, Harvest Host, and RV Park. The RV Campsite at Roaring River Vineyards (RRV) is located in a forested area surrounded by springs and walking trails and has a lovely view of the vineyards. It is situated not far from the vineyard’s entrance just beyond a pond. Since we opened our restaurant we’ve had a number of guests asking us if we allowed RVs to park on our vineyard. As a result, we developed the RV Park at Roaring River Vineyards. We feature: 5 RV sites of various lengths Gravel roads and large gravel parking sites, a large turnaround area, A lovely forested setting overlooking the vineyards 110/30/50 Amp electrical service A communal dump tank and water source  Free WIFI Vineyard Tours: based on owner availability (speak to our staff) Access to restaurants in high season (April 1 - Oct 31): Thursday-Saturday 11 am- 6 pm, Sunday 12 pm- 5 pm. Our location is 1/2 mile from TIEC, (Tryon International Equestrian Center).  Each cabin (upper and lower) has a quality, king-sized, double, inner coil air beds and heat/air conditioning. Other features include an upper deck close to the trees and a fire pit located near the Grand Porch. Lower cabins, (#2-#6) have private bathrooms and kitchenettes attached to an enclosed, sheltered, private deck. Upper cabins, (#22-#26) have a shared bathroom. We provide complimentary K-cups and snacks for our guests. This is a "glamping experience, almost like camping.  You will likely hear birds; acorns falling upon the tin roof and will see butterflies and lightening bugs.  You can take advantage of our Grand Porch to enjoy the fresh air, the mountains and sky.  Our Grand porch is also a wonderful spot for an outdoor wedding. Located at the Haysi Ridgeview Trailhead, Mountain Top Campground is a hiker's paradise, offering access to approximately 200 miles of trails. The area also features an ATV trail also accommodates horse trails, hikers, bicyclists, and motorcycles. Operated by the Haysi Kiwanis, Mountain Top Campground offers 18 brand-new full hook up RV sites and 18 primitive tent sites along with shower and restroom facilities to accommodate the primitive sites. Mountain Top is also located close to the Russell Fork River, which offers access for fishing, kayaking /canoeing /tubing and swimming. During the month of October, with the release of water from the John Flanagan, Dickenson County and the Russell Fork become a popular destination for white water rafters.
