Looking to get away? Come stay with us! Nestled in the small town of Goshen, Virginia, you’ll find us at the Historic Cold Sulphur Springs Campground. We offer RV and tent camping both on a daily and seasonal basis. We have camping available year-round! Our campground has access to a beautiful, pristine pond and acres of woods making it a prime spot for fishing and hunting. *For generations, our campground has been home to hunters, and we embrace the opportunity to honor that tradition. During hunting season (October-December), target practice and shooting will be held on Sundays from 3-6 PM at the dam. Please avoid the lake and lake area during shooting time.  The road is safe to use to access the campground. Practice is limited to monthly and seasonal campers.* The Historic Cold Sulphur Springs Campground dates back to at least the mid-late 1800s, when it was a large, flourishing resort frequented by travelers from near and far. In its heyday, the resort bustled with more than 250 guests who often spent entire summers there playing croquet and enjoying orchestra concerts at the hotel dance hall. They would arrive at the Goshen train station and be brought to the resort by horse and buggy, greeted with ice cold lemonade. Those who visited Cold Sulphur Springs, doctors especially, attributed miraculous medicinal benefits to the water, recommending it as a cure for a variety of ailments and encouraging patients to visit. The Goshen Land and Improvement company even used these testimonials as a marketing tool to attract visitors, claiming “The Cold Sulphur Springs is pronounced by leading physicians and chemists as the finest water in the state. We have in our possession testimonies from leading physicians north and south to that effect.” However, the 1900s brought the onset of World War I and the advent of the automobile, allowing Americans to travel freely to a variety of locations without the need to summer for months at one resort. These factors caused the hotel at Cold Sulphur Springs to lose patrons and eventually meet its demise through fire and other means of destruction.  Today, the grounds provide a simpler kind of hospitality. Cold Sulphur Springs is a place for travelers from all walks of life to camp, fish, swim, boat, hike, and more. While little remains of the old hotel, the historic Spring House is still in tact at the campground, as are some remnants of original building foundations.  We invite you to explore the wonder that is the Historic Cold Sulphur Springs Campground and see the beauty that lies within.    

Rockahock Campgrounds is located near Lanexa, Virginia. It features full or partial hookup campsites that are big rig friendly. Many of them accommodate slide out RVs. The park provides free WiFi, is pet-friendly, and has a dump station.   Amenities & Activities Campsite amenities offered include a fishing pier with boat docks, a boat ramp, a restaurant, a camp store, a clubhouse, a playground, a jumping pillow, a swimming pool, a propane refill station, picnic tables, fire circles, and grills. It also includes basic amenities like restrooms with hot showers and laundry facilities. Family owned and operated with 242 sites. Most sites have full hookups with 30/50 amp service, and many are shaded. Our pop-up area has water and electric. We are a family-friendly campground with areas for eating, play, and relaxing. Military personnel and contractors are welcome too. Check out our inviting picnic areas, spacious sites, lake, fishing pond and well maintained grounds. Our swimming pool is open all summer long. We also have a prayer chapel. Take It Easy Campground is great for group or family outings, and there are lots of fun things to do in the local area.

Abrams Creek is more like a nature preserve than a commercial campground. On our campground, there are no generators, loud electronics, or other things that would distract from appreciating the sights and sounds of this pristine natural environment. Campsites and cabins are well spaced out, so that there is never a feeling of crowding. The campground has 20 acres of hemlock forest bordered by a wild whitewater stream. Some areas are boulders, pools, and turbulent water—great to watch or play in. One large area towards the end of the campground is a calm wading area good for children (with careful supervision of course), and just past that is a deeper section, 5’-7’ deep, that is good for swimming.  

Mane Gait Equestrian Center is a working horse farm in the heart of the blue ridge mountains. We have 140 acres of beautiful rolling hills and woods with walking paths to hike. Enjoy beautiful sunsets and sunrises over the paddocks and visit with the 40+ horses on sight. Horseback riding is available with ample notice. We are 15 minutes from downtown historic Lexington, and 10 minutes from Natural Bridge park. We are only a half mile from the famous Virginia drive thru safari park and the Pink Cadillac Diner. Multiple brewerys and apple cider within miles of us. Come enjoy life on the farm!

Bel Alton Campground is a new property being developed in Bel Alton Maryland. We have a few sites with Full Hook Ups and some spots where you can park your RVs for the night. Light and security onsite 24 hours

Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenandoah River, West Virginia. This is a private residence with an RV hook up. You must have a pressure gauge for water. You will have access to a one acre lot, a walking trail that is 20 minutes to a community beach on the Shenandoah river. If you love peace and quiet other than the songs of birds this camp spot for you. Wi-Fi and a trash pick are included. Campers must like dogs, two dogs have access to the property and both are very friendly.
