Wilderness Presidential Resort
Overview
We are around 650 acres of pristine environment. We have two private lakes great for boating and fishing. There is a boat launch on both lakes if you bring your own watercraft. We have two outdoor pools and a year round heated indoor pool. We offer full hookup sites for your RV, tent platforms and blank lots for tent camping. There are comfort stations with showers and laundry facility available year round for you. We have 3 levels of luxury accommodations. Our Cabins are a home away from home. They include anything you could want from a whirlpool tub in the master-bath, a private washer and dryer, full kitchen, multiple TV's, internet and more all included. Our new Camp Cottages are a great comfortable option including a full kitchen, TV and internet located right on the lower lake some even with hot tubs on their decks. Our Vintage RV's are a great budget friendly option. Come enjoy making family memories playing knockerball, mini-golf, tennis. Enjoy our disc golf course, basketball court, softball field, and fitness center. Relax with our fantastic craft classes or have your adrenaline get pumping with our adventure park by scaling our rock wall or navigating the course through the tree tops enjoying a zip line. Come experience our new addition Archery. Come join us for great events like Wild Roots Music Festival or Wilderness Haunt. We also have partnered to our guests to have access to a great golf course and equestrian center including trail rides.
We are fully ADA compliant.
Wilderness Presidential Resorts is located near Spotsylvania, Virginia. It features around a thousand full or partial hookup campsites that are big rig friendly. Many of them accommodate slide out RVs. The park provides free WiFi, is pet-friendly, and has a dump station.
Amenities & Activities
Campsite amenities offered include boat rentals, boat ramps, an adult clubhouse, a fitness center, several swimming pools and playgrounds, numerous sports fields, picnic tables, fire circles, and grills. It also includes basic amenities like restrooms with hot showers and laundry facilities. Visitors can also enjoy on-site activities such as tennis, horseshoes, arts and crafts, shuffleboard, hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing.

These warm and rustic log cabins are Rated Silver Crown by RCI and are the perfect getaway from the bustle of city life. Located at The Presidential Resort at Chancellorsville, these two bedroom units sleep six (6) people. A southern-style porch with 2 rocking chairs allows guests to enjoy the nature at Wilderness. The cabins are on or near Hazel Grove Lake and ideal for fishing and other various water activities.

All RV sites offer 30 amp electric service and water. Limited Availability for sewer equipped sites. Sewage pumping services are available upon request for an additional fee.
These sites are located near our newly upgraded Comfort Stations throughout the Resort. Maximum RV length is 36′ (unless WPR member). All RV model years must not exceed 15 years. All RVs must have valid tags and current state inspection. No conversion vehicles. Wilderness Presidential Resort reserves the right to refuse RV site access to units that do not meet these criteria. This list is not exhaustive, please refer to the Rules and Regulations for further details. All RV Sites accommodate a maximum of six (6) people per reservation.

Rules
Cancellation Policy
14 days to 4 days before the start of the reservation there is a 15% cancellation fee. 3 days to the start of the reservation there is a 100% cancellation fee.
Maximum length stay
Only 90 nights in a calendar year may be spent on the resort.
Check in and Check Out
Check in for blank lots for tent camping and RV sites in noon. Check out is 10 a.m. Check in for accommodations including Vintage RV's, Camp Cottages, and Cabins is 4 p.m. Check out is 10 a.m. You may stay on the resort before and after check in to enjoy all the amenities.
RV site reservations
Can currently only be made 2 days before the start of your reservation. Please call the Reservations Department at 540-972-7433 ext 1 to make your reservation.
Pet Restrictions
Pets must be leashed and cleaned up after when walking the resort. Pets are not allowed in the Cabins and Camp Cottages

We are surrounded by history with four civil war battle fields within minutes of the resort. Including the first clash of General Lee and General Grant at the battle of Wilderness. Our next door neighbors of the battle of Chancellorsville. The bloody fighting at the battle of Fredericksburg. Finally but not least the push to the capital at the battle of Spotsylvania Court House. Discover the history of 3 of our founding fathers with the homes of George Washington at Mount Vernon, Thomas Jefferson at Monticello and James Madison at Montpelier.
