At Safe Haven Rv Park we believe, "Home is where you park it and make it". The campground features full 30/50 amp hookup sites. Given our convenient location, guest are able to explore areas such as The Allman Brothers Museum, Ocmulgee National Monument and the Museum of Arts and Sciences. Until then if you are a traveler and need to rest we have a nice safe place to park close to the freeway exit. Yes, you heard that right, we are offering weekly rentals at Lake Wedowee!   We are a new campground that is currently still under development, We will be adding and upgrading different aspects of the park as we progress. We are working hard to make this a family-friendly and fun space at Lake Wedowee. We are now taking limited reservations for Phase 1,  lots 1-11. The park offers a friendly environment where families can feel safe and right at home. Sites 1-11 are back-in sites that offer full water and sewer hookups catering to RVs up to 45 feet, with boat dock access a mile down the road, Big Fish at Wedowee is a perfect area for dog walking, biking, sporting activities, or taking a nightly stroll. We are currently working on developing phase 2 and the park amenities with the hope that both will be open SOON.  Campsite amenities offered include: paved road to the campground entrance full back-in sites minutes from Lake Wedowee
