At Safe Haven Rv Park we believe, "Home is where you park it and make it". The campground features full 30/50 amp hookup sites. Given our convenient location, guest are able to explore areas such as The Allman Brothers Museum, Ocmulgee National Monument and the Museum of Arts and Sciences. Until then if you are a traveler and need to rest we have a nice safe place to park close to the freeway exit. And we have monthly and weekly rental options as well if you are in town for a while for work or pleasure. This is old world Georgia here. Make yourselves at home!

Gate was closed, couldn’t get in for 10 minutes, slipped in when someone was leaving, called both numbers I had. Couldnt find the office in the dark after I let them know it would be a late check in. Drive home 4 hours instead. Waiting on a refund.

The RV park was in OK condition. When I first hooked up to the Electric my fault indicator showed an open nutral connection. After play with the receptical for about 5 minutes the nutral open connection cleared. The people there were friendly enough once we were able to get aholdm of them.

Campground says it is open 24 hours a day. Arrived at 11:00 PM traveling alone with dogs. No one around. Campground poorly marked. I called them and no one ever replied. I had to drive on through the night. A frightening and shocking experience. I will stay at KOA from now on.

Staff was great, especially Cam. Good water pressure in the showers. We stayed for one night, only problem was that we were parked on an active ant colony and a lot of them made it into the walls of our camper.

This place is a lie, NOT WHAT THE WEBSITE SHOWS. Yes they rent out a few spots, but it is mostly people living there, lots of junk around the rvs. We got there at 10pm only site available would barely fit our car much less the 33ft camper. We ended up sleeping at a travelers rest stop off the freeway. Contacted them next morning and text- they won't get back with you. Area is very sketchy.

If you're looking for a fancy campground this is not for you, but you traveling and need a good place to spend a couple days perfect, it's on the southside of Macon not a lot of traffic which is good and lots of eating places within 2 or 3 miles and very quiet, looked permanent resident on the back of campground but you didn't know they were there.

This was the worst "campground" I've ever stayed at. It looked like a junkyard. Almost every camper there was old, dirty and many had tarps covering the roofs. Our site had a concrete slab that was buckled and broken. There was even someone else's stuff on the slab so we just put it aside. The wifi didn't work until the morning we left which was a couple of days earlier than planned.

We had a four our delay in our trip due to an accident. We called safe Haven and told them that we would not be in till probably 9:30 or 10:00. He was very considerate and when we got there he showed us to our spot. Campground is very quiet and well maintained. Great for off and on the highway

Really sketchy neighborhood, way overgrown grass and overflowing sewer next to us and the"bathhouse". Lots of permanent residents with lots of noise Agreed this is a lost opportunity for a nice little park

Campground Response

Hi Mrs. Lisa Elwell, this is Dolly from Safe Haven i would like to apologize for the grass and sewer issues while you were here from 10/24 - 10/26....the grass was being addressed while you were here... the sewer issue was not addressed because we did not know about it until after you all had left, you did not bother to call any one about the sewer issue and in fact when you all unhooked from the sewer it over flowed and you all left without saying a word and we were left to clean up the mess that was left behind (issue was resolved) and yes we have just over a handful of permanent residents, the rest are contractors and construction workers here for the new and improved roads that are being built/redone..... and as far as the noise it was just children being children and no we can not control the interstate noises.... if you have any further concerns please call me at 478-283-8061 Thanks, Dolly at Safe Haven...

Dilapidated camp site, grass overgrown, infested with ants and the bath house only had two restrooms of which one was clogged up upon arrival. Connections were convenient and close.

I only spent 1 night here, but was disappointed. The hookups were good and site was level. BUT restroom and shower facilities were poor, dirty, wet floor, leaking, no TP. Loud music, people walking around outside very late. I didn't feel safe.
