At Safe Haven Rv Park we believe, "Home is where you park it and make it". The campground features full 30/50 amp hookup sites. Given our convenient location, guest are able to explore areas such as The Allman Brothers Museum, Ocmulgee National Monument and the Museum of Arts and Sciences. Until then if you are a traveler and need to rest we have a nice safe place to park close to the freeway exit. And we have monthly and weekly rental options as well if you are in town for a while for work or pleasure. This is old world Georgia here. Make yourselves at home!

Great value place to stay.

I only spent 1 night here, but was disappointed. The hookups were good and site was level. BUT restroom and shower facilities were poor, dirty, wet floor, leaking, no TP. Loud music, people walking around outside very late. I didn't feel safe.

Rustic, unlevel sites, rough road, but nice helpful staff. Would be 2 or 3 stars, but they are working to improve it. Utilities work fine. Someone stole our water hose while we were away from our site, so unhook and store everything if you leave for a couple of hours.

Eh! Nothing fancy, but served it’s purpose. Good rate. Didn’t use bath/laundry. Only complaint, had to call someone when we got there to take to our spot, had to make 5 calls till we got someone, was confused on what to do, and no it wasn’t after hours, 2pm. But guy finally showed and he was helpful.

Absolutely Wonderful! The place is very well managed and clean with all the extras you could want. We only stayed one night but enjoyed a wonderful supper with great live entertainment. We will be back and for a longer stay next time.

Convenient after an exhausting drive through Atlanta. Clean showers, friendly staff. Sites close but we didn't care, rested up and on our way early next morning.

Fast personal service. Pull through LEVEL site. Easy hookup and disconnect. Only downside are sites are close together. We'll be using this Camp Resort again 👌

This is an odd little place. Pull up to a gate, call a number, get no answer, go through the gate because someone came out it, go in, drive around looking for "office," determine there is none, get a call back from said previous number called, wait, they show up and pull you into your "somewhat" level site..... The guy was nice enough and pointed out the (very) old mobile home converted to a shower/laundry room. I did have 30 amp power, water, and sewer was offered (though I didn't use it). They also had sketchy wifi off and on. I didn't check the shower/laundry room out nor did I leave my camper. I left early in the morning and was stopped by a different guy asking if I was okay. I said yes that I was just leaving.... Strange but.... as it was it worked for one night. Looked like most people there were living there... The one Class A in the place (next to me) was gone even earlier than I was and I never saw them either.

We had to wait over 15 minutes for someone to come and take us to our site. They did apologize for the wait and told us the code to get in, for Wi-Fi and where the laundry room and shower was. Never saw anyone from the park again. It was a great location for us since we were going other places and not sending time in camp.

Ruth Probasco

Packed in very tight, staff never told is where anything was at, showers etc. Had to wait at entrance gate for 15 minutes so someone could let us in. Ants all over camp site. And no printed material so we could find stuff on our own. Not a good experience.

This is Dolly at S.H R.V.Park, I'm very sorry you had a bad experience and the reason why you had the tight space was because originally you were to be on the front row which is for our over night guests but you called us and cancelled on March 7th 2019 at around 12:16 p.m.(you made and paid Rover Pass on 01-02-2019) but then showed up at our park for your reservation and upon seeing you did not cancel with Rover Pass we honored your stay(and put you on lot 29) and i will apologize for the person who did not tell you where the bath house and etc.was he is still in training and as far as ants they are every where you go there is no avoiding it and as far as not getting material sorry about that also but most people Google every thing now a days anyway..and the wait time is usually not that long but when we have millions of other things to do in the park wait time may be a little long .If you have any further remarks, questions or concerns please feel free to contact me at 478-796-2646 Thank you and have a great day......

We stayed for three night while visiting relatives in the Macon area. Having a pull through, full hookup site was very convenient. The atmosphere was pleasant and quiet in the evenings. The proximity to Macon was superb. WE will stay there again, for sure!

This park is conveniently located to town. It’s open grounds are very nice for your dogs to run and get exercise and well groomed. They have two large ponds that have turtles and birds to watch. This is a gated area, so you feel safe and well protected. Nice people that run the park.

My dog loved the amount of space available to him to walk.I liked the extra wide space we had, front row has nice view of grounds.bathroom was subpar, park was quiet in evenings, would stay again.

Everyone needs a place to escape to and call a safe haven. This can be the place as it has a lot to offer. We were surprised with how much we got for the price it was. The staff was so friendly and welcoming; they knew how to make you feel special and kind of like family. The park was nicely maintained as the facilities were not only nice but was always clean. The showers were great with hot water and awesome water pressure. The amenities were perfect for camping, everything you need to hook up your rig and camp out. I thoroughly enjoyed this place as it was very serene and relaxing. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
