At Safe Haven Rv Park we believe, "Home is where you park it and make it". The campground features full 30/50 amp hookup sites. Given our convenient location, guest are able to explore areas such as The Allman Brothers Museum, Ocmulgee National Monument and the Museum of Arts and Sciences. Until then if you are a traveler and need to rest we have a nice safe place to park close to the freeway exit. And we have monthly and weekly rental options as well if you are in town for a while for work or pleasure. This is old world Georgia here. Make yourselves at home!

We called the office prior to arrival with no return phone call. Per office you are to stop at the gate and call them so they can escort you to your spot. We called upon arrival (no real gate either) no answer and couldn't locate the office. We drove to an open area parked and started to walk to find the office. There are not fences or anything, all open and very run down, sketchy looking area. A current full timer was outside, we chatted and were told to just park in any of the three spots by the office, we asked where the office was. The person proceeds to tell us that our catalytic converter will be stolen, to keep an eye on it. They also said to listen and keep one ear open to "the outside" then says "but no worries, you'll be fine". Then mentions there are snakes everywhere. Again states" but don't worry, you'll be fine". When we drove back around (very bad dirt roads, deep ruts), the office was an old, run down shack looking structure. No one has called us back from the office still. We drove to the three sites as we were picking our site, the person came back to us to tell us "DON'T OPEN YOUR DOOR FOR ANYONE" "NO ONE". My husband stated "I have a gun we'll be fine". They said "another fella did too and it didn't do him any good, he said he was too scared and almost had a heart attack". AGAIN, they tell us "but don't worry you will be fine" At this point NO ONE has called us back from the office after we made multiple calls and left messages!! After that person left repeating "but you'll be fine, I promise, just keep and ear out and don't answer your door". My husband and I felt unsafe and ended up leaving and finding a truck stop to stay at for the night. NO ONE has ever called us from the office to this very moment we have heard NOTHING back. We paid over $50 for that night. So much for "Safe Haven"....worst RV Park we have ever been to!!! Most of the places in the park are full timers and they are all very run down, sketchy looking and park not maintained. When using the GPS it takes you to the wrong entrance which ended up causing significant damage to the side of our fifth wheel. We felt like we were in the movie "Deliverence" seriously would not recommend this place to ANYONE!!!

I lost my investment capital and profits trading online, they kept on requesting for extra funds before a withdrawal request can be accepted and processed, in the end, I lost all my money. All efforts to reach out to their customer support desk had declined, I found it very hard to move on. God so kind I followed a broadcast that teaches on how scammed victims can recover their fund through the help of Gavin ray a recovery specialist, I contacted his email provided for consultation, I got feedback after some hours and I was asked to provide all legal details concerning my investment, I did exactly what they instructed me to do without delay, to my greatest surprise I was able to recover my money back including my profit which my capital generated. I said I will not hold this to myself but share it to the public so that all scammed victims can get their funds back. Contact his email:gavinray78 gmail com

Did not stay. I did not receive any notification until it was too late. We had already went to another campground. Did drive through this one and it was NOT taken care of and was in no way a SAFE (appearance) place to stay. Phoned multiple times and left messages for a refund and still have not heard. Do NOT stay here

Hello guys I wan to say this to whom it may concern. Investing in crypto was my husband ideal. I trade with some crypto platform not knowing they where sc!m and this made me lose almost all I had. Am only happy because I found help after reporting to a recovery firm and they helped me recover all I lost to these fake crypto platform. My advice is that everyone need to be careful of the platform you deal with. If you have falling victim of these fake platform do not hesitate to file a complaint to Marketpeace.net this company helped me and I believe she can help you too. Stay safe guys.

Stay away . . . disgusting and not a safe area. The only thing better than staying at a Walmart parking lot is we had an electric hook-up.

I lost up to $55,0000 while trading on Binary Options .I tried getting my money out from the option broker account and was unable to place a withdrawal. I found my self wading through excessively complicated terms which seemed impossible to meet, all because I traded with an unregulated broker. I did not panic, I have good news . I lost over $55k to an unregulated broker who stocked my trading capital and denied me access to my account. I have recovered all my lost funds, through the help of a certified binary recovery expert. If assistance is needed, kindly get in contact with {nick jover 4 @ gmail com } and you will be guided on effective steps to take and get back all your lost funds in days, You can

This had to be one of the most scariest scenes as a park. As I drove through the main entrance I told myself there’s no way in hell that I would be comfortable with this and drove straight back out! Safe Haven should get Zero stars!

We got in during business hours, went to the office (a mobile home) and knocked several times. No answer. I called the numbers listed on the reservation and signs, no answer and never got a returned call. We drove into the park, found a spot and set up. There was a maintenance guy and he was helpful. No info or Wi-Fi password, and lots of sand. We only stayed one night out of our two night reservation.

Not at all what we expected! The manage was certainly hospitable. The place is run down , adjacent to a run down trailer park Waking my dog was a bit of a challenge to keep from stepping dog piles everywhere Bath house was a rundown double wide trailer that was absolutely disgusting The saving grace for us that is we needed some rest and to hook up to power.

DON'T GO! This isn't really a RV Park for campers. This is a place where people who are down and out are living in run down RVs on a full time basis in a very sketchy part of town. The online pictures were probably taken years ago. The trash cans were overflowing, the grass was about a foot tall, there were pieces of trash strewn about, and the parking pads are just dirt. We were the only people there who weren't permanent residents. I didn't even go into the bathhouse, which was a derelict filthy trailer. There was no check in process, the address isn't correct (and the sign for the RV Park is practically covered by overgrown bushes), and they don't answer the phones. We called when we couldn't find it, no one answered, but we were sent a text to call after hours (it was only around 4PM). Someone named John did come out to show us where to park-next to that run-down bathhouse. There are hookups for water, electric, and sewer, but that was about the extent for amenities. We were supposed to stay 2 nights, but stayed only 1 because we didn't feel comfortable being in that part of town. Take my advice and skip this place-the name is a misnomer!

Don't go there. Don't even get off at that exit. Totally ghetto. Buildings and houses are boarded up. Not a safe area. And of course since we didn't stay there. They won't answer phone or return our call for a refund. Lost money on that one. But we are still alive.

To be honest, we never stayed there. We pulled up to the office and knocked twice but no answer, so we didn’t know which site to occupy. While we waited we decided to drive around the campground. We were not impressed with the condition of the campsites or the clientele. The place looked run down and many of the camping units looked abandoned. We opted to stay somewhere else. Not interested in getting our money back. It appears the campground can use the money more than we need it.

Check in was terrible. No one answered the number posted on sign or online. Had to wait 5+ minutes of knocking at “house/office” before someone answered door to check in. Place is close to highway so noisy. Would not stay here again

This is a small campground that is very convenient for Macon. It has many rigs that appear to have been there for extended periods but very little activity in the campground. The person who checked us in was very friendly but you have to knock on her front door and wait for her to answer. There are no amenities other than a laundry housed in a converted trailer.

DO NOT stay at this RV Park. When I showed up the gate was closed and no one answered the phone - message box was full. Another camper staying there was leaving and opened the gate, but before I could get all the way in, the automatic gate started to close and tore my door lock, Grab bar and Awning arm off. There response was, "it's an automatic gate - you should expect it to close!"

Campground Response

Hi this is SAFE HAVEN Staff, We are very sorry that you experienced that, How ever you had informed us that you had decided to stop in the middle of the gate and carry on a conversation with another patron and apon further investigation when the gate hit, instead of waiting for gate to open back up you pulled off going forward thus bending the gate and doing the damage to the rv. And your phone call was returned 30 seconds to a minute later..sorry the person was indisposed at the time of your call. Thanks and please have a Safe and Cautious Journey.

Gate was closed, couldn’t get in for 10 minutes, slipped in when someone was leaving, called both numbers I had. Couldnt find the office in the dark after I let them know it would be a late check in. Drive home 4 hours instead. Waiting on a refund.

The RV park was in OK condition. When I first hooked up to the Electric my fault indicator showed an open nutral connection. After play with the receptical for about 5 minutes the nutral open connection cleared. The people there were friendly enough once we were able to get aholdm of them.

Campground says it is open 24 hours a day. Arrived at 11:00 PM traveling alone with dogs. No one around. Campground poorly marked. I called them and no one ever replied. I had to drive on through the night. A frightening and shocking experience. I will stay at KOA from now on.
