I pulled in around 9:30pm and the woman manager had me come into the office to register and as she was explaining the Park she said, "I'm giving you directions to the men's room because if you use the ladies room, men here will walk in on you." I was too tired to find another Camp. at 12:30pm my dogs started barking and I saw a man standing near the door to my trailer. It was a full moon I saw him clearly. I yelled, "Get him Franke! Get him Franke!" while holding my revolver. The man was startled and ran off. 20 minutes later a small car pulled into the space next to mine and a man got out of the car and leaned against the driver's side. He stood there looking at my trailer for some time before driving off. I slept with my gun in my hand relying on my dogs for a warning. Horrible experience!

Was told if I took review down I would get my refund so I did and still never got a refund so my review is going back up. THIEVES!!!! BEWARE!!!!! I never write bad reviews, however this place deserves it. My husband, myself, and our two babies just moved back to town and were looking for a long term rv site so my husband could start his new job and we could build our house so we chose here since it was close to family. We reserved for 1 week which was $150 on 8-9-20. We get to our site which was unmaintained, I was told I had to park directly behind our camper which wouldn’t have been an issue had the site not been mud. I was afraid our blocks would move and our rv would roll and damage my vehicle but I did so anyways. We got set up and started having issues in our rv. We realized it needed to be taken to be warrantied so the next day 8-10-20 we left to do so. As we packed up the rv was COVERED AND FILLED WITH ANTS that we had previously NOT had. We are neat freaks and take pride in a tidy home especially with a toddler and newborn. The ants were all in my car and my husbands truck!!!!! We went to the front to get our refund since we had only stayed 1 night. The lady was rude and called me a LIAR!!!!! And REFUSED to give me a refund right then and refused to give me a refund receipt stating it would be credited back to our account. I finally got a receipt for $38 for 1 night but nothing else stating the remaining amount would be refunded. I called yesterday 8-20-20 to see where our refund was and all I kept getting was “ILL LOOK INTO IT”. This is unacceptable!!!!!!! WE WANT OUR REFUND SINCE WE DID NOT STAY THERE!!!!!

Scary place, owner likes to beat on people’s doors at 7:30 in the morning to tell them they parked on the grass. Avoid at all cost. Lots of other well kept RV parks nearby.

Nice, rustic campground. Sites are gravel and pretty close together. The office staff were great and very welcoming. We had an enjoyable week-long stay. Recommend as a stop over or a quiet place to get away.

Convenient overnight stop. A little pricey for a quick overnight. But a very quiet, level site.

I stayed in a "cabin". They are not much at all and in well populated areas. Not what I was hoping for. However, the staff was really great! The pool looked clean except for some leaves. I wanted to play some basket ball and do some fishing, but there is just a goal with a very small little patch of concrete. The ponds were stagnant and not a place you'd want to hang out. The baths were fine and for the price, it was okay.

Very convenient off I-75 for a night. Pleasant staff. We didn't get a chance to use the pool. The bathhouse was serviceable. This is a small park that is reasonably priced and easy on-off for travelers.

Serious electrical problem with site power. 30 amp service kept blowing out and having be be reset at site breaker pole. Owners said it had just been repaired, but it WAS DONE WRONG. Wires reversed. Second reset electrified the RV and knocked me down when I touched the RV door. With the office closed at 6pm we immediate unhooked and started driving home to Atlanta. I reported to owner's yesterday through roverpass but have not heard back at all.

Campground Response

I apologize for not responding sooner, after you reported what happened we had Crisp County Power come out and they found that a squirrel had chewed through the ground wire on top of the pole, it has been fixed. Each of our sites has it's own dedicated line which is tested every week. We are sorry for what happened and if you come back we would welcome you for the night without charge. Thanks Heather

The place was very nice and quiet , the bathrooms were clean only disappointment was the pool was closed.

Campground Response

Hi Linda, We sincerely apologize about the pool, we have had so many issues with it we are considering shutting it down because of costs. Once again we are sorry it wasn't operational for you. Thanks Heather

The park needs serious tree trimming, and tractor work. Nice owner parked us in a pull-thru that was not level, has no breaker on 50amp service, and directed us on how To leave on AM. A power line to the bath house hung down below 11 feet...would have ripped off our AC if I hadn't noticed it, was forced to back out between trees and branches to get out. Clean bathroom and laundry area... $25 a night with PA. OK in a pinch...not a destination. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
