Rolling Oaks Campground is located 7 miles south of Sandwich, Illinois right along the Fox River. The park has been family owned and operated since 1969! The season is open mid-April through mid-October weather dependent.  Rolling Oaks is a fantastic place to visit for the whole family. There is fun for children and adults and the property includes activities such as: playground, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, and plenty of special events. During the summer there is music and dancing on Saturday evenings, farmers markets and cart rides. There are also special dinner events like spaghetti supper, corn boil, and pig roast.  The campground has outdoor swimming in the maintained lake. There is a propane exchange station, a dump station available, firewood for sale, and a snack bar with burgers, pizza, and other foods. Nearby Sandwich has shopping, dining, and laundromats available. Located one-half mile off U.S. 41 on Oregon Church Road, Fowler Park serves as a multipurpose park. Inside Fowler Park are two lakes, a campground, picnic shelters, playgrounds, trails, a covered bridge and a pioneer village with a working gristmill. Fowler Lake, 25.9 acres, has a boat launch, a beach for swimming. The lake is stocked with largemouth bass, bluegill, redear sunfish, channel catfish and black crappie. The second lake is located on the west side of the park hidden behind the hillside. Largemouth bass, crappie, and bluegill are found in it. Bask in the sun by the lake or enjoy a stroll under the covered bridge, there is so much beauty to be discovered at Fowler Park!

Situated on West French Drive, Prairie Cree Park is four miles west of U.S. 41 and one and six-tenths miles east of State Road 63, making it accessible from either highway. The park is a multipurpose park. Its distinctive feature is a beautiful grove of old growth sugar maple trees, that in the fall of the year, turn to brilliant golden yellows, reds, and oranges. Within the park, you'll discover one long, moderate, continuous trail winds in and about the grounds with numerous access points. A small family graveyard sits on a hilltop, undisturbed in the woods on the east side of the park. On its south border, Prairie Creek Park adjoins a 13.4 acre lake. At the front of the park is a small 1.8 acre pond. Channel catfish, large mouth bass, redear sunfish, bluegill, and black crappie can be found in these bodies of water. The campground has approximately 40 modern sites. The campground is divided into two sections, one much smaller than the other. A modern shower house, restrooms, and dump station are available to campers. It's time to explore the magic of Prairie Creek Park!

The park opened May 29, 1982 and consists of 2,600 acres of land, with 811 acres of water.
