Nice rustic family camping. The camp store hour could be a bit more accurate

I have been a seasonal camper at Pioneer for 5YR. its the most relaxing campground i have had. The owners are very friendly just out standing people! We have had other seaonal sites this is the BEST all the campers are friendy and alway there to help if you have a problem. If you need a relaxing weekend or a seasonal site this is the place.

Karen Pagels

Nice little campgrounds. Only stayed one night on our way south.

Mark Swan

We really enjoyed the large sites and spread-out feel of the entire campground. So wonderfully quiet. As a camper, you have to understand that you are quite remote - little cell phone signal strength, no wifi, no TV.

Gabrielle Baird

Everyone was really nice and helpful. Campsite was really nice. We had a wonderful stay. Definitely will come back

The water & electric hook-up were so far apart from each other we had to pick one or the other. Sewer didn’t even exist! We said we didn’t want to disconnect but if you wanted to throw away your trash you had to.

Campground Response

I am sorry you were not happy with your site. There was a sewer hook up, I wish you would have called me if you had an issue, we would have been happy to help the best we could. We can't help the way the sites are set up, it's an old campground and we are doing our best to redo things little by little. Thank you for your honesty.

Debora Minkosky

Very nice campground. We will definitely be back next season.

Campground Response

We are glad you enjoyed yourself, we look forward to your return visit!

Tom Curbishley

A lovely spot to camp. Our stay was brief, but we were impressed by the friendliness and the communication of the proprietors. Also, the grounds were well cared for and quiet. Would like to have stayed longer!

Campground Response

Thank you for staying with us! We hope you are able to come again!
