We will reopen May 1, 2020 and NOW TAKING RESERVATIONS.

We are new owners as of July 2018 and have been continually updating and improving the park. We offer full-hook-up and back-in sites for both 30 and 50 amp. For those who like to tent camp, our brand new tent sites are separate from the RV's in grassy and wooded sites. All of the tent sites have fire rings and tables, but no electricity or water. We also offer 2 camping cabins with beds (no linens) and electricity.  Our bath house is always clean as is our laundry room. Don't forget to check out the unique Made In Montana items in our Gift Shop!

Our location is perfect for use as your base camp. We are located 1/2 mile from Historic Virginia City and Nevada City. World class fly fishing is just 15 minutes away and we are in the middle of some of the best hiking, biking, and UTV/ATV trails. Yellowstone is a short 90 minute drive away and Bozeman is 60 minutes.

Before you ask, YES, we have Moose occasionally rambling through the campground in addition to all other types of wildlife found in Montana.

Open Dates: May 1 to October 31

We stayed 2 nights, one in a tent and one in a cabin. We really enjoyed staying at this campground. Whike we were sas to see that we were the only ones tent camping, we still had an amazing experience. The owners were super friendly amd accommodating, and tge facilities were clean and well maintained. We will definitely be staying here again.

Great RV space. Very clean, not congested and great sunsets! Highly recommend.

The view was magnificent! Facilities were nice as well. The only hiccup we had (at RV site 1) was the water. It was horrible! Even with my inline filter it was undrinkable. That being said, we would definitely visit again!

Campground Response

We are a little puzzled by your water issue as all of the campground is on City water. We’ve never had any complaints about the quality or taste. We’ve actually had compliments on the taste of the water. Other than that, we’re glad you had a good stay and hope to see you again!

A very well kept and managed property. Kind owners. We were in full hookups and felt they could have done with one less RV space to afford a bit more personal space. We felt squished in.

Owners, were friendly, spot was immaculate. Owners were knowledgeable about the area. Bathrooms/shower were nice sized but could have used cleaning more than once a day. Lots of use. Garbage cans were bear proof, not the common closure. We helped many people who struggled to get in them as we were across from them. Suggested to the owner to put instructions, as he agreed they were difficult and he was going to call manufacturer. Will definitely stay there again. We liked the pull in arrangements they use on every other trailer goes same direction not all facing the same way.

Campground Response

Jill, We appreciate your input on the bathrooms. They will be remodeled this fall after we close down which will help a great deal with keeping them cleaner after high use and we are investigating adding more in the future. I agree that our new bear cans are difficult and we are hoping the manufacturer will helps us trade them out for a different style. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us and hope to see you again in the future!

Our first stay there. We thought our site had full hookups. The write ups we saw indicated full hookups but our mistake for not double checking our reservation. Most do but not all. I just read where they give military discounts for disabled vets. Didn’t know that either. Live and learn. Ok. Now for the good news. Very clean and well maintained and very quiet during the evening hours. The owners were very friendly. We will surely stay again.

Campground Response

James, Sorry for the confusion with your reservation. I'm glad that you still had a good stay with us. If you call my office, I will take care of the Veteran discount issue for you. All military, Active and Veterans, should be respected for their service and we will continue to honor them.
