Clean well maintained campgrounds with very friendly owners willing to help and answers your questions! Very peaceful and beautiful little oasis back in the coulee of the hills. I can’t say enough good about this campground and the friendly staff!

Great location for exploring the Virginia City and Nevada City historical area. Check in was simple because they had everything they needed from Roverpass, and the owners were VERY nice! It’s a small campground and very quiet. Only downsides are that due to current fire danger no campfires were allowed (not their fault) and due to Covid their restrooms were closed so if you have multiple people and one bathroom on your rig, plan accordingly! :/

Very clean park, all the amenities, owners are amazing and they have a great little gift shop! They are right on the way to Virginia City. There are a lot of opportunities to see wildlife. There is a hiking trail and electric bike rental opportunities during the right season. It was quiet and well maintained. We will return next year!

Plenty of space. In the mountains so bears are around but all is safe. Owners are great. He got up and helped us when we got there really late. Definitely must stay.

The owners are the kindest and most helpful people ever. Very clean, unable to use showers due to covid for campers that have rv's, but they are being safe for all. One thing I wish they had was a playground for the kiddo's.

Very cute campground just up the hill from town. Great access for our big rig and the site had full hook ups. Very friendly staff, clean and tidy grounds and easy access to the town.

A wonderful experience. Modest park but well maintained. Shared patios and no tress but nestled in a small canyon so the view is nice. Good wi-fi and an interesting micro-town walking distance from the park with a few drinking establishments, restaurants and a small store stocked with essential supplies.

Campsites were too close together. I kept the shades down the whole time . We had booked two nights but only stayed one . Won't go back or recommend to any one

Campground Response

I’m sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy your stay. Unfortunately, all of the pull through sites are buddy sites that were built before we purchased the campground. If you had stayed in a back in site, your experience would have been very different. All of those sites have generous spacing around them. When making reservations, always check the site map to see the orientation of the type of site you are interested in.

Nice quiet camp site. Stayed in one of thre cute cabins. Heard but didn't see the moose. The hosts were pleasant and very accommodating. If ever this way again would love to stay there.

We arrived for the 4th of July weekend during Covid, and although the place was packed, the owners were very accommodating and followed safety protocols which were very much appreciated. We stayed in the queen size cabin which was small but quaint and freshly remodeled. We were only there to sleep so it suited us just fine. Such an amazing piece of Montana to explore Ennis, Virginia City and the Madison River Valley. We will definitely be back!

Loved it! Very well taken care of. I only wish it was easier to get to town by walking. I thought it was closer and easier to walk to (Ed had two small kids). We had to unhook to go to town. All in all, I’d be happy to stay here again!!!

Very nice place to stay and very clean. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We went and saw everything that the area had to offer. What a great experience. After checking out all that’s in the immediate area. The ghost town of Bannack is only a hour and a half drive away. Well worth the trip. PS. GPS is a little funny in the area. The campground is on the MAIN road just NE of Virginia City. Go past the “Ennis 14 mile” sign about 1/4 mile and it’s on the right.

Campground Response

This makes me very happy to know you enjoyed your stay with us! I agree about the GPS in this area...it's not quite accurate.
