Salmon Run Campground & Cabins is located 6.5 miles from the Haines townsite on the Lutak inlet, which leads to the world-famous Chilkoot River and Chilkoot Lake. They offer RV sites, tent sites, and cozy cabins! All campsites are tucked away into the mountainside and are relatively private from one another, although they have several sites that work well for groups or larger gatherings. All sites have a picnic table and fire pit. Restrooms and showers are just steps away. Enjoy nearby boating, hiking fishing, and more! This is also our favorite place on earth...and after our first visit 24 years ago we were finally able to able to make our dream of owning Salmon Run come true last fall. We plan to keep the campground and atmosphere that Ruth Ann created in the same fashion that so many guests have come to love. Can't wait to see you again!!

I took the rig out on a short trip with my friends and we ended up at Salmon Run RV Park. We were lucky enough to get a spot right next to the bay and the water view with a mountain backdrop was incredible. They also had some cozy looking cabins for anyone that didn't feel like camping. The amenities we most appreciated were dependable WiFi, clean restrooms and hot fire pits to gather around with family and friends any time of the day.
