Painted Rock Park

Overview

Come enjoy the peace and quiet of a country setting at Painted Rock Park. Have your own little slice of the prairie as you walk the property and see nature up close. You may spot pheasants, doves, quail, antelope, and deer. Behind the park are large pens on the back of the property where pheasants are raised in the summer to be turned out when they are grown in the fall. They are a sight to behold. You will find beautiful rocky hills and dry riverbeds if you are a rock collector. Come ready to explore with your family and pets. At night you can sit outside and watch the gorgeous sunsets, then stargaze while supper is on the grill.
