After spending time at your resort we really had a good time! Front desk gal Connie was friendly and helpful as I can see it is a busy front office. We had Victor as our park guy to answer many questions and he was delightful! We had an unpleasant experience with activity manager Linda. We thought we would be able to go to the fashion show as when we spoke to her a year ago she told us no problem, but seems as if it was sold out. She was even able to continue selling tickets as we sat in her office. With other requests like using the bbq it seemed as if we just kept hitting road blocks. But the final act when she came stomping over and hollered our whole group of around 50 people that we had Blown It as she felt we needed to return one garbage can back the prior evening. Could have been a misunderstanding as to when this one garbage can needed to be sent back, but she was completely off base to yell at our whole group, they were all shocked. It was completely uncalled for. I would be remiss if I did not let the owners know how one person can spoil the apple cart. Thank you for an other wise very nice time! We have traveled far and wide in our RV for 20 years and I have to say Connie in the main office and her staff were a pleasure to work with. Connies husband Victor who deals with outside issues was very welcoming and helpful. There were 24 rv’s in our group and the only real problem we had was the activity director Linda. After arrival I met with Linda to sign up for Saturday breakfast and banana split Sunday night, which were outstanding events. I asked if we could use the bbq at the patio area and she was discouraging me against using it because it was hard to clean. I asked if we could use one of the garbage cans at our site because of activities and meals at our sites beginning on Wednesday thru Sunday, Linda told me no I would need to contact Victor. I contacted Victor and he showed us which garbage can we could use. Well on Friday morning at our site with 48 of our guest having breakfast, Linda the activity director came stomping over to my husband yelling that we had BLOWN IT, and who told you that you could use the garbage can, and that we should have returned it Wednesday the day we got it???? Very embarrassing to get disciplined at 74 years old over a garbage can. Our stay was 11 days, it appeared to me that the activity director was annoyed with having to deal with short time guest. If you are looking for mountains and deserts to gaze at for hours then this is the spot! We were on our way through when we stopped here but couldn’t be happier about our stay. The staff was so nice and very helpful. They had so many spacious sites to choose from that was nicely spaced apart. I like it when a campsite doesn’t feel cramped and sites side by side. The facilities were rather nice and always clean when we used them. The location is really nice as it’s not far from a shopping center or places to eat.
