We are less than one mile from Montauk State Park with it's access to the beautiful and pristine Current River and some of the best trout fishing in our state! Canoeing and kayaking is a favorite activity while visiting and there are several businesses with rental available for river water fun.

Cool downstairs unit of lodge. Lots of room to move around. Good shower. Everything you need for a long weekend. Fire pits and chairs were great for cold late night stargazing. Host is very cool and communicates well. We stay here almost every time we come to Montauk.

Wayne Dykstra

A nice clean campground.

Karen Clark

The camp ground was very peaceful. If you have any issues with your site there is no clear contact information beside a phone number on Rover Pass. Our firepit was at the end of our spot in a very odd place and not in the best shape. Whoever was there before us apparently does not know not to put rubber gloves, plastic bags, etc. in the firepit. I would have though the caretaker of the camp grounds would have cleaned it out. I asked my husband if he would go back and he said yes. The only thing not a lot of stuff to do around there. If you love to fish it's the spot for you.

Gil Since

Very nice well kept. Everything worked as it should.

LOVED IT!!! Stayed in downstairs cabin and fell in love with the kitchen. Super clean and quiet, can't wait to come back!

This was our 2nd year staying here and we will continue coming back. It is a clean and quiet rv park right outside the state park, which is convenient for us because we come down every year to fish. We were disappointed we missed the fish fry and music due to a prior commitment. Maybe next year!

Bill Ahal

First time at this RV Park....very clean, very quiet. Had a great time and will be back

Can’t wait to go again.

Great place to camp, full hookup nice and clean. We usually go to this campground multiple times a year. Owners are great and very responsive to any issues that may arise. Thank you again for keeping up with the place so well

Kyra Snyder

Karen Knowles

Happy Pappys is one of our favorite places to stay, the grounds are clean and well-maintained. The staff is friendly. You can be reached anytime by phone. The sites are pretty leveled. And the price is very affordable for full hook up campsite.

Jill Dooley

No complaints!! Hope to make it back again!

Patricia Kelley

Love this campground. So peaceful. Everyone here is so nice and helpful.

Ed Fanning

Always great to get back here. Real close to the park and the camp grounds are always well kept.

Joe Halbrooks

Lot 7 is on a hill. The water going to the camper would not shut off all the way. Other than that, nice quiet campground.

Denise Sharpe

Playground needs more improvement and Wi-Fi didn’t work in #24. Other wise nice place

Michelle Villar

Rv park is very clean and safe

Michael Schallert

Happy Pappy’s is a great place to stay just outside of Montauk state park. The location is very convenient. The camp sites are all a good size with full hook ups. The grounds are very well maintained and clean.

Lynn futch

We loved our stay! So close to the park, quiet and relaxing.

Shaun Hartzell
